Alveera : how was the breakfast hope you enjoyed it.

Adine : super tasty as always (smiles)

Alveera : Good then, I made lunch for you as well

Adine :Really? You didn't have to stress yourself besides I can easily buy prepared food at work.

Alveera : what !!! (Furious!) are you saying my efforts are wasted, you don't like my cooking! And you want someone else to feed you?!!!!

Adine : no no no no no no !!!!! Don't get me wrong you are pregnant, and need lots of rest. I mean take a look, just two months and your belly is that big !

Alveera : (embarrassed). Don't say it like that .you're taking the lunch I prepared and eating everything before coming back home that's final. (inner thought; I know that a baby is coming he will want to work himself to death .this is the only thing I can do for him, since I can't go to work for the coming months, I have to keep preparing healthy and super tasty meals for him, so his strength doesn't wither.)

Adine: YES MADAM !!!, I know you are worried about me .it's your nature after all, so don't you worry. I'll eat every single speck of food even the packs if I can just to see you smile. I'll be going now.

...___HE BENDS DOWN TO HER TUMMY ___...

And said: "goodbye my cupcake don't disturb Mommy ok!" (mooches her tummy)

" my love I'll see you later , love you!."

Alveera: " See you when you get back . Love you too".

...After a month of leave. Adine resumed his position at the company, everyone was so excited to see him. Some of his colleagues bought gifts and present for him to extend to his pregnant wife....

...Felicia on the other hand was so disgusted by the news deep in her heart. But pretended she was happy on the outside when she encountered him that morning. She plastered on a fake smile and approached him…...

..."Adine!!.. Good morning welcome back! It's so great to have you back here again" and gave him a warm hug........

...He replied; I guess so, but I wish I would be by her side every every second....

...he chuckled and scratched his hair nervously. His words made Felicia disgusted. She then pulled her act together and said; "oh I know you love her very much, I can see why". She said putting on a fake smile and rubbed his head a little....

..."We will talk again during lunch break, we should get to work, see you then." she smiled Softly and walked away. He replied; "yes till then" . He left as well....

..."Ok. Three minutes more to round up, I'll be there". Adine replied....

...She waited for him. "Let's get going" he said as he walked towards her....

..."Wait your face is a little stained with dirt and I will wipe it up for you". Felicia said....

" Oh thanks!" he said .

...(Felicia's inner thought :how can my one man be this hardworking, kind-hearted and so handsome. who even is this woman he holds dearly in his heart .if only I made the first move, would I have stood a chance against her? , if only .......... )...

..."Are you done" ? Adine asked Felicia as she was deep in thoughts. "Oh yes I am, We can now proceed" she responded....

...Little did they know someone was eves_dropping on them Mr David (Adine's manager)...

...(DURING LUNCH..........)...

..."Adine! I prepared a little something while coming from home as a greeting of welcome back to work, for you .hope you don't mind right ? We can share the launch I made together". Felicia said....

..." Oh! i _ _ _ (hesitant as he remembered Alveera's words before coming to work). Well you see my wife made me lunch and insisted I finished every single thing. I can't disobey her (chuckled) so I'll share your lunch with you, if you insist. Then I'll eat hers as well (smiles)....

..."Is that so? You don't have to,if you don't want to." Felicia said unhappyly!. " of course I will eat yours, before i eat my wife's meal" he said with a smile plastered on his face. "ok" Felicia responded smiling....

He shared her lunch with her as promised.

...Immediately he fetched a full spoon in his mouth he said ; (inner thought : what is this!? Felicia can't cook? It is so tasteless, I can't believe it. She don't know how to cook. I can't tell her that. I will endure it not to hurt her feelings .)...

...He quickly finished. "Was it good?" she asked. He avoided the question by faking a cough....

..."wait I'll go get you some water since this one right here is finished". She went hurriedly....

...He quickly brought out Alveera's lunch and finished it before she was back.(inner thoughts' : oh my darling you're such a lifesaver all thanks to you)...

...when Felicia brought the water he got gulped it up...

...Down his throat. "I enjoyed it. Thanks for all your trouble of making me the beautiful lunch!"....

..."I'm glad". She replied smiling....

..." Look at a time, seems lunch is over. I'll see you later Felicia… Goodbye ". Adine said while waving at her....

..." Okay I'll get going as well, goodbye" Felicia replied....

...FEW HOURS AFTER WORK .......

Adine hurriedly returned home to his wife. When he got back she had already prepared dinner for him. He greeted his wife and unborn baby with a warm hug and smooches.

Alveera Then said smiling; Seems you miss me this much. We're happy to see you as well. I made dinner already.

Adine: i indeed missed you a lot. It's good to be home. (sighs in exhaust )
