EXT. FACTORY - DAWN

The factory stands ominously against the morning sky, a dark monument to the horrors within. The town is eerily quiet, the terror of recent events still fresh in the minds of its residents.

INT. FACTORY - MAIN ROOM - DAWN

OFFICER RILEY enters the factory, cautiously moving through the dark corridors. Her face is set with determination as she navigates through the remnants of the horrors inflicted by the Vendor.

OFFICER RILEY

(muttering to herself)

I have to find the source... there must be a way to stop this.

She hears a faint mechanical whirring and follows the sound to a large, dimly lit room. In the center stands the Vendor, now still and lifeless, surrounded by eerie balloons with grotesque faces.

VENDOR

(voice mechanized)

Welcome to the final act.

Riley approaches, her flashlight casting eerie shadows across the room. She sees the Vendor's face balloon, its expression still twisted in malevolent glee.

OFFICER RILEY

(firmly)

This ends now.

She aims her gun at the Vendor, but suddenly, the balloon’s string lashes out, wrapping around her arms and legs. The Vendor's eyes glow with a sinister light.

OFFICER RILEY

(struggling)

No! Get off me!

The balloon tightens its grip, lifting Riley off the ground. The mechanical whirring grows louder, and Riley realizes the Vendor is not as it seems.

OFFICER RILEY

(realizing)

It’s a puppet... controlled by something else!

Riley fights against the strings, managing to break free with sheer force. The balloon deflates, revealing a hidden compartment within the Vendor.

INT. FACTORY - CONTROL ROOM - DAWN

Riley stumbles into a hidden control room filled with intricate machinery and monitors displaying various parts of the factory. At the center stands a control panel with a puppet master’s chair. The room is illuminated by eerie, flickering lights.

Riley sees a shadowy figure operating the controls, manipulating the Vendor’s movements.

OFFICER RILEY

(angrily)

Who’s behind this?

The shadowy figure turns, revealing a middle-aged man with a cruel smile. He is DR. KURTIS, a disgraced scientist obsessed with fear and control.

DR. KURTIS

(smiling wickedly)

Ah, the brave officer. You’ve uncovered my little game.

OFFICER RILEY

(determined)

You won’t get away with this.

Dr. Kurtis laughs, pressing a button on the control panel. The factory’s machinery comes to life, and several more balloons begin to inflate, their faces twisted in malicious glee.

DR. KURTIS

(mockingly)

Let’s see how well you handle the real nightmare.

Riley pulls out her gun and starts shooting at the control panel, trying to disrupt the machinery. The balloons begin to deflate, but new ones are quickly activated.

DR. KURTIS

(enraged)

You think you can stop me? This is just the beginning!

Dr. Kurtis activates a trapdoor beneath Riley, causing her to fall into a dark pit below.

INT. FACTORY - PIT - DAWN

Riley lands roughly in a dark, cramped space filled with remnants of previous victims. The room is dimly lit by flickering lights, casting eerie shadows. She sees tools of torture and horror scattered around.

OFFICER RILEY

(looking around)

I need to find a way out...

She spots a ladder leading to a small hatch above and starts to climb, determined to stop Dr. Kurtis.

INT. FACTORY - CONTROL ROOM - DAWN

Dr. Kurtis, still at the control panel, watches Riley’s struggle on the monitors. His face is twisted with a mix of anger and amusement.

DR. KURTIS

(speaking to himself)

She’s persistent. Impressive.

He begins to prepare a new, more terrifying balloon—one designed to amplify fear to its extreme.

INT. FACTORY - CONTROL ROOM - LATER

Riley emerges from the pit and makes her way back to the control room. She sees Dr. Kurtis engrossed in his work.

OFFICER RILEY

(raising her gun)

This ends now!

Dr. Kurtis turns, surprised but quickly recovering. He reaches for a switch on the control panel.

DR. KURTIS

(coldly)

You’re too late. The final balloon is almost ready.

Riley fires at Dr. Kurtis, hitting him in the arm. He stumbles back, but manages to activate the final balloon. It starts to inflate rapidly, its face a grotesque mask of terror.

OFFICER RILEY

(shouting)

Stop it!

Riley rushes forward, pushing Dr. Kurtis away from the control panel and frantically trying to disable the final balloon. She manages to pop it just before it fully inflates.

DR. KURTIS

(screaming)

No! You can’t stop it!

Dr. Kurtis collapses, his control over the factory’s horrors lost. The remaining balloons deflate, their evil faces fading away.

OFFICER RILEY

(breathing heavily)

It’s over.

The factory falls silent, the nightmare finally coming to an end. Riley stands amidst the remnants of terror, victorious but weary.

EXT. SMALL TOWN - DAY

The town begins to recover from the horrors it has endured. Residents emerge cautiously, the fear slowly lifting as they realize the nightmare is over.

Riley walks through the town, exhausted but relieved. The sun shines brightly, a stark contrast to the darkness she has faced.

OFFICER RILEY

(to herself)

It’s finally over.

The camera pans out, showing the town starting to heal and rebuild, with a lingering hint of the horror that once plagued it.
