CHAPTER 3

Three days have passed, however Aurora still couldn't forget the man she had called a thief. After the incident in the elevator, Aurora looked for information about the owner of the residence. Unexpectedly, Aurora had insulted one of the most vital people in the development of the city of Golyn. Therefore, every time she wanted to go out to work, she would definitely leave at seven in the morning and come home early to avoid running into Ash. She also had to buy food online.

"If not because Mr. Jonny, I can move out of that house". Aurora is stuck with her fate, even though her salary is high she still can't afford to live a better life. It's also her fault because she desires to live in that residence so much, she had to pay the rent half of her salary. Alas, she has signed a contract to live there for 3 years.

"Never mind, in another year I can move of that house and then I can save more money". Although she has to wait 1 more year but for her, it's like 10 years.

"Hey Aurora, are you okay? From earlier I called your name but you kept talking to yourself. Do you've got a problem with work? Is Mr. Meor mad at you again?" Elisa, who has been Aurora's best friend since university, began asking a series of questions that made Aurora's head spin even more.

"Why do you like to bother me? Can't you do your own work?" Aurora got annoyed with Elisa's behavior, so she pinched Elisa's shoulder.

"Ouch! And why you like to pinch me. If you have a husband, he'll definitely run away from you!" Elisa deliberately brought up the subject of husband because for her Aurora will stop talking when she hears the words of husband. She said she was too sensitive about it.

"Shut up! You don't need to be busy body to know my business." Aurora got up and left Elisa. She thinks Elisa and Ash are a good match because they both like to mess with her.

As Aurora on her way to go to the cafe, Mr. Horrold called her and requested her to come to his office immediately. Aurora's heart was beating fast as if there was something her heart wanted to say. Her steps are also full of caution.

"Why am I here? Why does this man appear in front of me again? Why is he here? I'm tried so hard to avoid seeing him but in the end it was all in vain." Said Aurora in her heart.

"Aurora, meet Mr. Ash the CEO of G&M Company". Mr. Harrold is very happy to introduce Mr. Ash to one of his best home designers.

"Happy to meet you Mr. Ash". Aurora reached out to shake Ash's hand even though her heart didn't want to do so.

"We meet again Miss. Aurora." Ash deliberately said this so that Mr. Harrold would know they had met before.

"Oh, you two know each other? That's good, then I'll leave you two for a private discussion as I also have other business outside". Mr. Harrold said so because it was a request from Ash himself.

"Thank you Mr. Harold". Ash shook hands with Mr. Harrold then his eyes glanced at Aurora's face and smirked.

"So, Miss. Aurora. How are you? I saw the cctv that you tried your best to avoid seeing me. Do you have something to say to me?" Ash deliberately wanted to tease Aurora because he wanted to see if Aurora was as professional as he heard.

"Sorry Mr. Ash, this is an office not a cafe. I'm sure we only need to talk about business". Aurora spoke in a calm tone but her mind was already showing the scene of her slamming this man's head on the table. She was really hurt by what she just heard. She just wanted to run and hide in the forest because she was ashamed of herself.

"Yeah, so I'll get straight to the point with my purpose here". Ash began the discussion seriously. He also doesn't want to waste his time because he is very strict about time.

Time passed quickly, it was already past dinner. Aurora from earlier was looking for an opportunity to stop this discussion because she was worried about her daughter at home. However, Ash continued the discussion like there was no tomorrow. Aurora hopes her daughter is doing well at home, because her daughter didn't want to go to a nanny's house today as she said she was already 5 years old so there was no need for her to have someone to look after her. Aurora was unable to do anything because she herself knew that her daughter was so smart and far different from her age.

"Alright we end our discussion here for today. I'll contact you when my fiancee is back from overseas." Ash realized that throughout this discussion, Aurora seemed uncertain but he didn't want to care because for him there would be no meaning in stopping if he wasn't done yet.

"Alright then, I will make a more detailed sketch first and present it to you in the next meeting." Aurora was relieved when Ash said that.

"So now let me send you back. After all, I know your car's tire went flat this morning." This is the opportunity Ash has been waiting for.

"How do you know? Are you stalking me?" Aurora's voice was a little high because her voice was mixed with feelings of surprise and anger.

"No more words and just follow me". Ash knew that if he told the truth, Aurora would act like a wild cat who wanted to fight.
