Las Vegas, October 31st

Katherine Forbs gets out of her car and took a look around the King's Crown highschool. It was already 10:40 on her phone. The school was decorated to scream Halloween. Katherine gave out a loud sigh. She really didn't wanted to come, but it's her birthday and she didn't which to celebrate it , so her tempting dad and annoying elder brothers forced her.

She locked her car, which was a birthday gift from her father. With her head high, she walked elegantly into the school. She entered the ballroom-like hall where the party was going on, whirling light, happy music, expensive wines delicacies, excellent interior decorations. Flinging her hair flirtly, not that she meant to flirt around or anything, to her it more like an expression that says ' hey today is my birthday '. She looked around for anyone familiar and saw her two reliable pretty best friends walking towards her with warming smiles.

" hey! birthday girl!! " Chloe Michaelson busted out looking hot in her cat woman's costume.

" I thought you said you weren't coming?! " Jennifer Maxwell asked looking both surprised and happy to see her.

" uhmmm, I don't think that how great a birthday girl Jennifer? " Katherine said teasingly and she giggled which made look cute in her bunny costume. She stretched her hands and pulled her into a hug.

" am so sorry, happy birthday KTY, and please try to be happy " Jenny said and Katherine couldn't resist but hug her back with a tear almost dropping from her eye.

" uhnnn!, leave a space for me " Chloe said quietly and they opened up for her to join in the warm penguin hug.

Katie and her friends shared an unbreakable bond. They've been friends since grade school. They all came from wealthy families. As their pretty princess-like life may seem perfect, they all have messed up shit in them .

Katherine's mother doesn't exist anymore, not after her birth. This was why always treated her like this on her birthdays, with warm hugs, comforting words and gifts, they knew about her situation being the only girl living in a whole mansion with her dad and two elder brothers. To Katie, celebrating her was celebrating her mother's death.

As for Chloe, her parents divorced, when they found out she was a bastard. She lives with her wealthy wayward mother. Although Chloe was social and interactive when it comes to boys, she's nothing like her mother.

Lucky Jennifer have both parents, two lovely younger brothers and they all lived happily together. Jennifer was smart ass, a genius, the only problem she has is the issue of boys. She doesn't know how to make her relationship last longer. The boys tagged her as a push over, but we can't blame her, those boys were jerks anyways. It's just sad that a sweet girl like Jennifer always end up with the wrong type of guys.
