Kaito knew he had lost the love of his precious daughter. He had done too many wrongs against her and even deprived her of a mother’s love.
Wracked with only guilt Kaito finally knew what he must do to set things right once more for his daughter so that she’s couldd live in happiness.
Kaito Tanaka’s gaze softened. “Then go. Find your happiness.”
Kaito suddenly turned his katana toward himself and pushed the blade through his stomach.
As Kaito fell to the ground and the life drained from him, the words “I love you” were the last to be spoken from his lips as he gazed at Hana.
Despite her anger, Hana ran to her father, tears streaming down her cheeks. She grabbed his lifeless hand and just looked at him in shock. The man she fought so desperately against was now just a man and no longer her father.
The fighting ceased as the other clans stood in shook at the fact Kaito had taken his own life. They all stood in silence as they looked at Hana kneeling next to her dead father’s body and crying tears of remorse.
It was a wakeup call that they all needed to put aside their differences and once again maintain peace. Was their pride and greed really worth lost lives?
Hana and Soto finally fled, their love scarred, but unbroken. They wandered through ancient temples, seeking redemption. Beneath a sakura tree, they exchanged vows, their love a fragile blossom.
The rival clans forged peace, their oaths rewritten. Hana and Soto became legends, the lovers who defied tradition, whose love bloomed even in the shadow of yakuza honor.
The lovers chose to roam the world while embracing each others love for each other. Soto doted on Hana in all sorts of ways to make sure she lived a comfortable life with him.
Soon, the two discovered that they would be new parents. Hana and Soto were overjoyed and decided it would be best to find their way back to their home.
They wished for their child to grow up where they met each other. So, with a firm heart and lots of love they traveled back to their home.
They were surprised to be greeted so lovingly by the people. It seemed they had been sorely missed. After reclaiming their places within their clans, the two prepared for their newest arrival.
A few months later, a healthy baby boy was born and given the name Ryuji, in remembrance of the artist that captured his mother’s heart.
The family of three took a walk to Sakura bridge. Standing there and gazing as the cherry blossoms fell across the water below, Hana looked at Soto, “I love you.”
Soto kissed her, sealing their fate. “I love you for eternity my sweet blossom.”
And so, in the heart of Tokyo, where love transcended bloodlines, Hana and Soto found their happy ending, a love stronger than yakuza oaths, deeper than secrets, and as eternal as the sakura blossoms.
