Nathan:

Two days passed quickly and finally the big day. The day to begin the downfall of Maya's enemies. I'm welcoming the guests, everyone is already present, the company's partners, my family, and at this moment Maya's family arrived, the supposed father, the stepmother, and the sister.

"Mr. Ford, thank you so much for the invitation. I didn't know where we met."

"Tim Brook, is that right?"

"Yes."

"Josh Carter told me he was going to marry your daughter. I heard that unfortunately they called off the wedding." He said you have a company. I'm interested in meeting you, who knows, we could do business together.

Now that the main guests of my party are all gathered, I take the microphone and get everyone's attention.

"Attention everyone, I would like a minute of your time to announce the hostess of this evening, who organized this whole party to perfection, my beloved wife, Maya Brook Ford."

She descends the stairs beautifully alongside her godmother. How beautiful she looked tonight, but then again, she looks perfect every day.

I extend my hand to her and pull her towards me, giving her a kiss in front of everyone, who are all perplexed. After separating from the kiss, I hand her the microphone, and she smiles and looks at everyone.

"Good evening everyone! I would like to thank our family and friends for being here. It's an honor for me to meet my husband's friends. He's very extravagant and wanted to throw a big party. I would have preferred to stay in private, but since he wants to celebrate our marriage in style, let's celebrate!"

The music started playing and we're going to dance. Shortly after a few songs, her father approaches us while we're dancing. I signal to Richard, who already knows what to do, and they both come towards us. Richard walks faster than her father and stands beside us.

"What's going on here, Maya? What's this story about you marrying Mr. Ford? Where did you two meet? You were engaged to Josh just days ago!"

"What's the problem, Dad? Like you said, we were engaged until a few days ago. That didn't stop him from getting engaged to Kate hours after we called off the wedding. I met Nathan that same day."

While Maya was talking, Josh approached.

"It was love at first sight, a whirlwind romance. He saved me after someone pushed me to the ground, took me to the doctor, and we fell in love. And since he's a man of his word and decisive, we got married immediately."

"Look, sweetheart, that day was very confusing. We were all upset about the end of your engagement, and maybe we said things we shouldn't have. I hope you didn't take everything I said to heart."

She looks at her father but then turns to Josh.

"And you, Josh, do you have anything to say to me?"

"I have nothing to say. I'm just surprised to see you married to him."

"An amoeba like you wouldn't have anything to say anyway. But getting back to our conversation, Dad, I did take to heart everything you said. You never considered me your daughter, you even kicked me out of my own house without caring that I was in pain. Nice attitude for a loving father who loves his daughter. I decided to respond accordingly, Dad. Richard, could you make the announcement to Mr. Tim Brook?"

"Of course, Mrs. Ford. Mr. Brook, I have in my possession some legal documents. The first is a petition to revoke the power of attorney that Ms. Maya signed, giving you full authority to manage her assets and, most importantly, her company. This other document is a petition where Ms. Ford signed another power of attorney, granting the right to manage her assets for six months to her husband, Nathan Ford Moore. This other document is a lawsuit for the recovery of her assets. Ms. Maya demands that you return all of her possessions and vacate the house where you reside, which is in her name. You have five days to return all assets. I will take care of this matter myself; you have nothing to discuss with Ms. Ford. And the last document is a petition where she requests a paternity test, and she demands that both of you take a DNA test to prove that you are indeed her father because she doesn't believe that a biological father would do so much harm to his own daughter..."
