Live concert

Valentine day,

Dwarka, Delhi,

Red roses were blooming all around and I was in the middle of them all. I have always been very fond of red roses and I still do so. My house is in a place in Madras and that is why I always see so many beautiful flowers there and I like red roses very much.

Here in Delhi, I live in a small flat but I have grown many rose plants in the balcony so that I can see them every day. Today I was standing in the middle of the rose garden and was very happy seeing it, when suddenly I heard someone shouting.

When I opened my eyes, my two friends were jumping on the bed. I picked up a pillow and threw it towards both of them and said.

" Because of you such a beautiful dream of mine was broken. There were red roses all around me and because of you guys I came back to my small bedroom."

Yes you guys understood, I was dreaming and that too at 5:00 in the morning. After listening to me, one of my friends came in front of me and said to me.

" If you have dreamed of rose gardens early in the morning on Valentine's Day, see, a new love is definitely going to come in your life. You know that morning dreams always come true and seeing a red flower in a dream means that soon someone who loves you is going to come into your life."

I believe that we girls are very sensitive, especially in matters of love, but at this time I did not want a boyfriend. I study here sparingly and do part time jobs till midnight so that I can pay my college fees, hence I don't need a boyfriend.

" Stop your nonsense and tell me why you two were shouting so early in the morning?"

First of all I want to tell you about my two friends. The name of one of my friends is Saira and the name of the other friend is Raveena. Let me tell you that Raveena has a boyfriend and Saira is single like me. Raveena's boyfriend, whose name is Monty, I mean Manoj, is very rich and that is why Raveena always hangs out with him.

All three of us study in the same college and Saira and I do part time jobs. I work in a mall while Saira works in an office. As I told you earlier, there is no need for Raveena to reduce her expenses because her entire expenses are covered by her boyfriend, who is going to get married very soon.

Now coming back to the present,,

" Do you know what gift Monty has given to Raveena?"

As soon as Saira said this, I quickly covered my head with my sheet.

" I'm not interested."

Saira said while pulling back the sheet and pulling me up to make me sit.

" Monty has given four tickets and that too for this evening's live concert. Raveena and Monty will go in two tickets and the remaining two tickets are for both of us. Don't you think it's very interesting?"

As I told you about me, I love reading and writing and I do not like this kind of partying and travelling. My dream is to become a writer and such entertainments can spoil me, so I immediately said so.

" As I already said, I am not interested in this so please don't disturb me."

This time Saira came to me and shook me by the shoulders and said.

" I've had enough of you, I'm not going to listen to a single thing from you anymore. If you don't go to the concert with me today, our friendship will end from today."

Don't know where the trick of emotional blackmail from friends comes from. She turned her face to the other side and stood with both her hands folded. I raised both my hands and said.

" Okay but for the first and last time. No one will talk to me about this from now on."

Hearing my words, both of them almost fell on me and started hugging me lovingly. Earlier these people were angry with me so they were not doing anything to me, now when they are happy with me they are hell-bent on taking my life.

Today, after finishing college and then the mall work, we started getting ready in the evening. In short message, I come to my flat by 9:00 and now the good thing was that yesterday was Saturday and also a holiday, so I could sleep comfortably till noon.This meant that you and I could party till around 2:00 pm but after that I told him strictly that I would come back home.

Mini turned out to be a simple t-shirt and jeans, seeing which Raveena caught it from my hand and threw it back on the bed and said.

" Oh madam, we are not going to college, we are going to a concert and that too on Valentine's Day party. Do you think you will wear these clothes and go there?"

I am only 18 years old and at this age my father makes me wear jeans and top, that is a big thing. Hearing that I did not have good clothes that I could wear in such a concert, Raveena immediately took out one of her dresses and placed it in front of me.

Black colored hot rice which had one sleeve missing and one sleeve which was very long. Its front neck was full but the back had a deep neck in which the entire back was visible. That cloth was glowing in the dark and there was a line of diamonds on the side which was making it even more attractive.

" I can't go wearing this. If my father finds out, he will shoot me."

" Hey, at least she will go to the concert, isn't that enough? Now don't waste time, we have to wear it quickly and go."

Saira Nabi gave me OK signal and I had to wear that dress. I was going to tie my hair but Raveena kept my hair open.I don't like to wear make-up but he forced me to apply light make-up on my face because it looked quite attractive.

A beautiful black colored purse was handed over to me, which was making you even more stunning. A Korean hairpin made of black diamond was placed in my hair on the side. Maroon colored lipstick was applied and a beautiful bracelet was worn on my hand.

When I looked at myself in the mirror I didn't recognize myself. Is it really me or is this girl someone else who has come to my place. To be honest, for the first time I fell in love with myself.

" I tell you the truth, after seeing you this time I am sure that your dream will come true and you will find someone to love you."

Saira said while looking at me. Neither of them knew, nor did I know, what was going to happen to me after going there. Now if I think about all these things, I feel that I wish I had never gone there. Just one story has turned my life into heaven from one side and hell from the other.
