Episode 5: In the new school at New York

Emma’s grandfather took Eleanor to his house and gave her some food to eat. He asked Eleanor to move into his house. Thus she lived with him until she went to her new school.

Eleanor was going back to her studies after a long period of torture and pain. She knew that Anne was surely in trouble and that she needed to save her. But she was also aware of the fact that she was also being searched. Anne was no child and she knew her duties well. With such a messed private life, Eleanor was getting wild, when Jennet again came to console her.

“Leave the past,” she said, “and live the present life happily for a peaceful future. Come, today you’ll have to get your admission card. Hurry up!”

Eleanor sighed. Surely, her friend was right. She packed her bag and went to the school.

Ellen was worried that she should not be staying in Emma’s grandpa’s house for long. So she asked if she could stay in the boarding school.

As Jennet pulled Ellen’s hand and ran swiftly towards the counter, she bumped into a girl. “Ouch!” cried the girl.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean it!” replied Eleanor.

The unknown girl looked at Eleanor. After watching her for long, she asked, “You’re…new in this school?”

“Yes,” replied Ellen, “My name is Eleanor Jones. Nice to meet you! Sorry for bumping into you, I did not do it intentionally. What’s your name?”

The girl blushed. Then turned back and before going, she said, “Pure people like you have no place in this school.”

Ellen did not understand her words. As she sank in her thoughts, Jennet shouted in her ears, “BOOM!”

Eleanor shrieked in astonishment. “Have you gone mad?” she asked.

“No I’m not; but I think that you have,” she replied, “Why do you take that unknown girl’s words so seriously? Just

come on, don’t make a mess in the first day in this school!”

But Eleanor didn’t know what a mess she has already got herself into.

As the two friends registered themselves in the boarding school, there came loud sounds from the other end of the crowd. Eleanor heard somebody say, “Look! Our princes have come.”

Three handsome men came out of the car followed by a seductive women and a little less charming girl. Behind them came the guards and the maids.

Eleanor didn’t know who they were. As she was trying to wriggle out of the crowd, she again bumped into another unknown person. “Sorry!” she said.

As she was about to leave, somebody tightly held her hands. She used her full strength but could not release her hands. As she was about to remark that how unruly it was to hold other’s hands without permission, she saw that it was one of those guys who were entering the school with such glory.

“Huh, trying to seduce me?” he smirked.

“You jerk! Shut up! And leave my hands. Stop having dirty thoughts in this broad daylight!” she replied.

“But it’s you who wants to hook up with me.”

“Stop daydreaming! Leave my hand, you rogue!”

Her hands were left at once. She quickly went out of the crowd. The boy had held her wrist so tightly that it swelled up which gave her a lot of pain. It was the first time she was exposed to the ugliness of the outside world. She suddenly remembered the words of that unknown girl in the morning. As she was about to cry, Jennet came and said calmly, “Don’t worry, until I’m there, no one can harm you!”
