Dahlia "I didn't know there was a wizard outside the kingdom. If you're a wizard, why are you here?"

He raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement still on his face. “Why is a princess wondering about little ol’ me?” He asked, almost as though he was teasing her. “I work for both the kingdom and the town…I’m usually just wherever I’m wanted.”

Dahlia frowns a little and says "Work? What kind of work?"

He chuckled lightly, once again entertained by her response.

“Well,” he said. “Some royals sometimes require my skills for various things from time to time. I’m usually who they come to when they need a little…assassination.”

When Dahlia hears the word assassination, her eyes widen and a lot of thoughts come to her mind and the poisoning in her previous life before she died, could it have been the work of that man? But Dahlia ignores this thought

“You seem to have figured out who I am…” he chuckled. “I assume you’ve heard of me before, yes?” says Luke

"No, can you tell me exactly who you would work for? For example, can you work for a prince?" says Dahlia

His smile a little at this question. “Yes…I can work for princes, princesses, the king…pretty much any member of the royal family. I’m just who they come to when they need some things…taken care of, you could say.”

"Can you poison someone to death?" says Dahlia

He was surprised at how blunt her were with her question. But he answered her regardless, a slight smirk returning to his face.

“Of course I can. Why do you ask?”

"Nothing, anyway" says Dahlia and turns her gaze elsewhere.

Luke continued to watch her, his head tilted slightly to the side. He was intrigued by her questions and her behavior with him.

“You seem awfully interested in what I do.” He pointed out. “I thought princesses weren’t allowed to associate with commoners.”

"hmm I ran away, so I don't need a permit" says Dahlia carelessly

He chuckled, once again amused by her words and blunt attitude.

“I can see that…” he said, his smirk returning. “It’s not often that I see a princess who’s so confident especially when they’re this far from the castle.”

Dahlia rolls her eyes and then says "you work for money, don't you? If I give you someone's name, can I find out if you've ever worked for them?"

"hmm I have to keep the identity of my clients a secret..." Luke says with a slyly contemplative gesture and then with a grin "But it depends on the amount of money. Tell me who you want to know about, princess" he says amused. As long as it's about money, he doesn't care what the business is.

"Prince Brean, did you ever work for him?" says Dahlia with a serious expression.

Prince Brean was Dahlia's husband in a previous life, a liar who poisoned her to death in the chaos of their first night of marriage. They were actually married because of the royal pact and the rise of Brean's royalty, but Dahlia and most people didn't know that. No matter how sweet, kind, gentlemanly Brean seemed on the outside, on the inside he was just as cruel, ruthless, sneaky and egotistical.

“Prince Brean…?” He asked as he tried his best to recall any memory, before a faint smirk returned to his face. “…yes, I have.”
