Adam, Sammy and Nao walked silently in the gray part of the dead world. The occasional color changes make them feel like they were in a dream. Once you pass through the gates of the その間 Sonoaida you lose all your powers and return to your original form if you're still connected to your past life.

The loss of wataru overwhelmed their souls they had forgotten the rules of the world.

Adam like the saint he is did everything like he was told, and the passages opened for him.

But his case was different, Sammy failed badly the doors remained closed his faith was sealed he was going to end up in the qualms lost and hopeless. His brother sacrificed his powers for him to remain in the dead world.

Adam believes in him, he wanted to do everything for him, but he can't. Instead he is the one who always need saving.

The events of that day remained a dark history that brought the brothers together.

They are from the early 21st century from a completely different generation like most people that lives here. Born in Tokyo, their parents are successful business partners. They lived like most silver spoon-fed children of well-to-do parents. Adam was the golden child of the Suzuki family, He is the pride of his parents or so Sammy used to think. He was academically sound and very athletic.

He was so good he took the lead in everything. Sammy on the other hand was pretty average in academics, but he was quite the sportsman. He was a rebel and hated his brother and that lead to him joining bad gangs that resulted in his and Adam's death.

They both loved their little sister and missed her greatly, she is one of the reasons why they wanted to return to the normal world.

But he failed them again and yet his brother stayed.

Nao and Sammy might just be humans, but their powers will be returned to them in the biller circle where waruki resides but Adam will be powerless.

He is worried, he kept to himself as they cut through the colors and got to the big gate that could decide their destiny.

"We're here" Adam said placing his hands on his waist

"Oh, oh yes we are" Nao said excited as the gate opened he draws his sword out and laugh like a crazy man about to feast.

Sammy followed his brother once again scared of Adam getting harmed.

Sari got to the clinic, she pushed the door open and ran past the reception to get to yoshi. She saw him laying on the bed unconscious, he was wrapped with bandages. She crouched down beside him and caress his wound he started fidgeting in his sleep.

He began to call out names she has never heard before from him like ryuu, reiji, mother and father. He is having a nightmare but the name that stood out is Anya.

He was calling her out like she is present he longed for her touch, he wanted to hear her voice. He missed his family and he is in pain.

Sari placed a hand on his forehead to feel his temperature she quickly removed it so as not to burn it. His body was hotter than a stove she checked her hands and whimpered at the sight of red on her soft palms.

She called the doctor and fetched cold water, she dipped her hands inside and felt relief once again. She stared at the backyard of the clinic, the waterfall providing clean cold water.

She wondered about the names yoshi was calling out before, she wanted to know about them, who they are to him.

His history.

But she decided to let it go, she left the clinic and went straight to her shop. She prepared some tea and packed it for him hoping he'll wake up before she gets there.

She got to the place and the man was still asleep, she poured some cold water into a bowl and cleaned his body with it to lower his temperature.

He is practically burning.

After sometime his body temp went down slowly, she dozed on the chair the doctor gave her a mat and a blanket so she can remain there and stay the night.

Sari slept beside him.

The next morning, Yoshi woke up to find sari on the floor next to him. He groaned, after getting his composure he stood up and carried her to his bed then moved to the bathroom.

While he was in the shower, he traced his wounded area and was surprised to find that he is fine, he didn't know anything about his healing ability. No wonder the nurses were surprised as well to see him walking this morning, he showered, walked out and sat on the bed occupying the little space next to her.

He touched her hair and grabbed a cup, poured himself some of her tea to get her temporary peace of mind.
