Chapter:5

In the story:

Tae stood there in disbelief like a statue with a puzzled face, despite the pain caused by the heavy, kicked luggage.

Meanwhile Jungkook moved the shards of glass. He gently lifted the photo of him and his late husband during their wedding.

He stroked the face of his deceased husband with affection, his eyes welled up unknowingly.

Jungkook sat along the side of his door with his head rested along the surface and his eyes flooded with tears as he stared at the picture. He chugged a bottle of alcohol.

Jungkook while drinking more,his eyes were red and tearful: I am sorry Baekhyun. Everything is so messed up without you! My life is so meaningless without  you.

Tae sat on the other side of the door with a rejected expression. He heard Jungkook's loud sobs. Even if Tae was heart broken but all he wanted to console that desolate man who he got married some hours ago. His eyes were tearful too.

Sometime later,Tae stood back up and went to a room next to Jungkook's bedroom. It was slightly smaller but was well taken care of by his brother. His brother said if Tae comes here ,he will stay in this room so decorated the room the way Tae loves.

Tae looked around the room with melancholy.

He opened his luggage and noticed a picture of him and his brother which was a few years old.

Tae: Hyung why did have to happen?? Why did such a situation occur??

Everything felt like a nightmare for Tae and as if he was passing through an endless tunnel of darkness. His life, his joy collapsed after his brother's death.

He didn't even have the money to live a normal life. He couldn't even get jobs as he has not finished his education because he doesn't have enough qualifications, plus he is inexperienced. He got rejection from everywhere he applied.

The children at the orphanage always asked him about Baekhyun which ached his heart, yearning for Baekhyun love again.

The orphanage aunty was very concerned about his situation due to the desperation for job and carelessness towards himself.

Oneday:

Aunty: How are you going to be able to study if you are so desperate for job?

Tae: I need to..there is no other choice! I need money aunty.

Aunty: I am sorry Tae. I don't have much that I can help you.

Tae: I know aunty.

Aunty: Why don't you talk your brother in law? I know he is a good guy. Maybe he will help you financially...

Tae shook his head as a big no: No aunty I can't. The person who related between us, is no more. I don't even know him. I have to find a job, that's it.

Aunty: Did you forget your dream? You wanted to study a lot and have your dream job..

Some of his childhood memories flashed before his eyes....

When Tae was younger, he was a bullied child at school. He wouldn't tell his brother because he thought these are embarrassing. But he didn't want to go to school for them. Baekhyun would force him as education was important.

Taehyung would often cry at night. Around when he was 14-15, things escalated with extreme violence upon him. He was a shy child so he couldn't share it to anyone. He had tried to end him life by taking knife into his room in the orphanage but he couldn't as his hands trembled.

Once in school, the pain was so extreme his stomach was hurting even at home. The bullies kicked him, pulled his hair harshly and called him orphan to hurt him over and over again.

He was done with everything. After arriving at his room he broke a vase and took a shard of glass. He placed it to his wrist when Baekhyun returned from work.

Baekhyun with his terrified eyes : What are you doing?!! Taehyung-ah!!

Baekhyun threw his bag and rushed to him.

Tae: Hyung I don't want to live any more!

Baekhyun: Are you dumb?!! Throw that away! You will get hurt bun! Throw it!

Tae: NO!

Baekhyun ran and tried taking it from Tae.

Baekhyun tried to take the piece of glass but Tae didn't want to. Baekhyun tried to snatch it from him..

Tae stood still, afraid as he saw a large cut across Baekhyun's hand from the glass. Blood spilled out like a fountain.

Tae while crying: OMG!HYUNG! WHAT DID I DO?

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!!!

Tae: I am sorry hyung...

Tae threw the glass piece.

Baekhyun: It's nothing. I'm ok.

Tae started crying even loudly: No you are not!Too much blood!

Baekhyun hugged Tae and comforted him.

Tae used the first aid kit to treat Baekhyun with his trembling hands.

Baekhyun: Don't cry. It's not that deep. I am fine trust me.

Tae: Are you sure?

Baekhyun with a smile: Yeah.

First tell me the reason for what you did. Do you know the danger you were putting yourself into?

Tae: Yeah because I don't want to live anymore

Baekhyun with shock: What strange things are you saying? Your hyung would've been the most hurt if you did something like that. Do you really want to make sad your hyung?

Tae shook his head as no.

Baekhyun: Taehyung-ah, I would never be able to forgive myself if anything happened to you.

Tae while shading tears: I am sorry hyung. I don't want to go to school, it's so painful. They treat me like a trash. The hurt and agony is unbearable.

Baekhyun: Who did what to you? I will punish them. You know I am very strong.

Tae chuckled: Really are you strong? Can you really fight them?

Baekhyun: Of course I can. Don't judge by my body and height. Your hyung is really strong.

Baekhyun showed his leaned muscles and Tae giggled.

Baekhyun: Tae,always think about me before taking a decision. You know your hyung loves you the most. I'll fix everything.

Tae: Really hyung? Can you do that?

Baekhyun hugged him and caressed his smooth hair gently: I will. Believe on your hyung. Your hyung can do anything for you.

Later, Baekhyun talked to principals about the situation with the Aunty of orphanage but they took no actions.

He noticed Tae was always gloomy and scared.

Baekhyun:What can I do? I can't see him like this. I want my brother's happiness.

Aunty: You could change his schools, but trust me it's the same everywhere. It happens everywhere here and since he's poor and an orphan they will target him more. Some schools are even worse.

Baekhyun with a deep sad sigh: But I can't let this happen.

Aunty: This happened to one my relatives as well. Now she lives happily in America though. They said she loves there.

Baekhyun: I'll send Tae to America.

Aunty: How will you get the money? My relatives are rich but you are not Baekhyun.

Baekhyun: I'll do anything to make him happy. I'll make him fulfill his dream. Aunty please help me whatever you can. Trust me I will repay everything.

Aunty: Ok I will try.

Baekhyun took some loan and sent Tae to America for which, he had to work very hard.

After Baekhyun's death, the Aunty questioned Tae's decisions.

Aunty: So you're going to quit studying? All of the things Baekhyun did went to waste?

Tae: Let's see.

The aunty got into contact with Jungkook's mother and she went to visit Tae in person. Tae refused any money offered to him. Jungkook's mother felt Tae has a lot traits like Baekhyun.

Tae: Don't worry Aunty. I talked to a cafe.They didn't say any results but I'll find work at a coffee shop. Maybe it will work.

Jungkook's mother: No, don't do that. Your brother had too many dreams for your future.

Tae: I know aunty. But it's just..

Some children came to them and started whining for Tae to play with them.

Tae was playing with other children in the orphanage despite his deep sadness and laughed with them forcefully.

Jungkook's mother liked Tae and thought of an idea. She felt she was a bit selfish but it will be for the best for both.

Jungkook's mother: Tae, Baekhyun's is no longer alive and Jungkook is really out of it. Don't mind but oneday I will try to make him agree to move on and settle with someone else.

Tae: I can understand aunty. He can marry whoever he wants.

She was hesitated a lot: Tae, I am like your Guardian, I want to make a decision. I want you to marry my son.

Tae was flabbergasted.

Tae: What?!! No way! Why would I marry the person my hyung loved so much?!

Jungkook's mom: That's the point...Baekhyun loved....He is no more for Jungkook..... I know it's harsh but....can you take care of my son? Without  your hyung he is living like a crazy.

Jungkook's mother tried explaining everything to him.

Jungkook's mother held Tae's hand: If you have a lover or anything I won't force you.

Tae: No..it's not like that. I don't have a boyfriend. But still I can't....

Tae went to a different room....

He remembered a story that occured once. One day Tae videocalled Baekhyun.

Baekhyun's eyes were red and he was sniffing. He had definitely cried.

Tae was worried for him: Hyung what happened?! Are you crying?

Baekhyun while wiping his tears: I watched a series! It was so sad.

Tae took a deep breath: Thank goodness! I thought something happened to you.

Baekhyun: You know in the story ...the wife died and the husband was miserable.You know I imagined the husband was Jungkook. If I ever die, what will happen to Jungkook? Will you marry Jungkook if you're single?

Tae laughed hearing his brother.

Baekhyun: No I'm serious! He can't stand being alone. He needs someone beside him.You know he says always if he sleeps alone he feels so cold. Even if we fight he doesn't allow me sleep alone. I can guarantee he's the best husband ever! So will you marry him, if I die?

Tae: Hyung stop talking nonsense! I will never marry him!

Baekhyun: Why? What's wrong about him? He's so goodlooking and caring. I won't be sad. That time I won't here but I'll be happy you found the best husband ever.

Tae laughed a lot as Baekhyun kept crying over silly talks.

Tae: Hyung you are over dramatic! Last week you were crying over a movie, what was the name....oh...it's 'A moment to remember ' isn't it? Just because in that movie that wife forgot her husband due to illness.

Baekhyun: Ah don't make me remember about that....I'm feeling crying again...it was so emotional! But Tae if it really happens....if I forget all of you....nooooo I can't even imagine!

Tae: Hyung! Are you going to stop?! I can't take this nonsense more! Seriously Jejus!!

Baekhyun wiped: Ok ok...

Tae: You're such a drama king!

Tae didn't even realize when his eyes turned glossy....

Tae remembered what Baekhyun always said...

Baekhyun: Hyung loves you the most  in the world.

Tears rolled down his eyes and he whispered: I love you too hyung!

Tae in mind: Since when we were little,you have done so much for me. Now I will fulfill your wish no matter the consequences.

Tae went to Jungkook's mom...

Tae with his heavy heart: Ok I will marry your son. I will take care of him.....

Present night:

Tae while looking at picture of them: That day, when you told to me marry your husband, I took what you said as a joke. I never thought it would become reality. I never thought I would have to do something like this. I don't know what will happen this relationship's future....
