I opened my eyes at that moment simply because I heard the familiar voice of that woman. Even her voice drives me crazy. She didn't look the same as when I left her house when she threatened to call the police if I didn't leave her residence. On the way home, I caught myself thinking about her and the next step in getting her to accept what I proposed and preventing her from traveling, and it was at that moment that a headlight from the truck coming up ahead caught me off guard and hit my car. When the car started to roll, all I could think about was her. Before I lost consciousness, with difficulty, I managed to get my cell phone and call her, even without being able to speak, to keep her here before she even traveled.
It's okay that the accident wasn't that bad, but with that, I got what I wanted, now I just needed her to agree to work with me.
Now she was here, sitting beside me on the bed, thinking about the proposal I made.
"Please, Valeria, accept it," I insisted.
She stood up abruptly and faced me.
"If I didn't see you lying there hurt, I'd think you were faking it all so I wouldn't travel and accept your proposal, Mr. Khalil," she said. "I was at the airport, waiting for my flight to leave." She massaged her temple.
I tried to sit up in bed to talk to her properly, but I couldn't. What I managed to do was cry out in pain as I felt my body ache from the impact. Immediately, Valeria came to me, trying to calm me down. I saw the moment she ran out to call the doctor, and he came to me.
The doctor entered the room quickly, followed by a nurse. They examined me while Valeria watched, concerned.
"You shouldn't try to move yet, Mr. Khalil. You need to rest and recover," the doctor said firmly.
I nodded, feeling the pain pulsate through every fiber of my body. The doctor adjusted my medications and made sure I was comfortable before leaving the room.
Valeria approached again, her face etched with a mixture of anger and worry.
"You really don't know when to give up, do you?" she murmured, more to herself than to me.
"Not when it comes to you, Valeria," I replied, my voice hoarse. "I know my accident was a shock, but that doesn't change how I feel or what I want, I'll keep insisting."
She was silent, her eyes fixed on mine. For a moment, I thought I saw a flicker of something beyond worry—perhaps it was fear, perhaps it was hope.
"You need to rest," she finally said. "We can talk about this later."
"No." My voice was firm despite the pain. "I need you to know I'm serious. I want you to stay. I want you to accept my proposal. And I can only rest when you say yes."
She sighed, shaking her head, but said nothing more. Instead, she sat down beside me again, taking my hand. I could feel the warmth of her touch, a small comfort amidst the pain.
"I didn't know there was such a stubborn and hard-headed sheik." She laughed, her smile not reaching her eyes.
I noticed a hint of irony in her voice, but also a lightness that wasn't there before. Maybe there was a hint of admiration in the way she spoke.
I smiled, even though I felt the throbbing pain in my body.
"Well, now you know," I replied with a playful tone. It was comforting to hear her laugh, even if it was just a whisper.
"You're an enigma, Khalil." She finally murmured, breaking the silence. "But there's something about you that makes me want to stay."
Her gaze was intense.
"I hope you stay." My voice was soft.
"All right, I will accept your request, but on one condition," she warned. "We will only deal with business, nothing more. Understood? If you accept, I will be your personal secretary. And you also have to know that I have my own private life beyond the doors of your luxurious and imposing mansion."
I didn't want to accept her condition. But if I impose myself, I will lose her. So I have to accept and slowly win her over. And I will do so without haste, because, in the end, I always get what I set out for.
It won't be that hard.
I watched her closely, absorbing her words seriously.
"I understand perfectly." I answered, keeping my tone firm. "I accept your condition. We will only work on business, as you wish. And I will respect your private life beyond the doors of the mansion." "Welcome aboard, Valeria." I added, extending my hand in a gesture of mutual agreement.
She hesitated for a moment, but extended her hand and shook mine, sealing our deal with determination.
"So, to begin with, you should rest, Mr. Sheik. And stop looking at me like that, or I'll go back." she threatened, making me show a minimal smile.
I recognized the seriousness in her words, but I couldn't help but feel a little amused by the slight provocation in her tone. After all, even under the circumstances, Valeria still kept her unique way of dealing with me.
"I promise to try to behave myself, Miss Vasconcelos." I replied, keeping a slight smile. "But I can't guarantee that I will be able to resist looking at you. After all, you are hard to ignore."
She rolled her eyes, but a slight blush tinged her cheeks, indicating that my words affected her somehow.
"Don't start with your songs." She replied, trying to sound serious, but she couldn't hide the trace of amusement in her voice.
That moment was interrupted by the slight urge to go to the bathroom to urinate.
The unexpected situation made me a little uncomfortable, but there was no time for embarrassment. I needed Valeria's help to solve the problem.
"Valeria, I need you to take me to the bathroom. Could you do me this favor?"
She looked at me with a surprised expression but soon agreed and came to me calmly. Together, we walked to the bathroom, and as soon as we got there, she closed the door immediately. However, my difficulty in getting my dick out was evident.
"Damn it." I snorted. "Valeria, could you help me here?"
"What's the matter now, Khalil?" she asked from the other side of the door.
"I can't get the hose out," I said.
"I'm not a plumbing expert." She retorted.
"You understood what I meant, right? Don't play coy and come help me, or I'll end up peeing in my pants." I grumbled, hoping she understood the urgency of the situation.
Valeria sighed, seeming resigned to the unusual situation. Despite her initial reluctance, she entered the bathroom and closed the door.
"All right. I'll help you." She said, assuming a serious expression.
With a little effort, she managed to solve the problem, and I was finally able to relieve myself. I felt a mixture of relief, even more so because I felt her soft hand around it as she took it out. The accident is bad, but I could get sick more often.
