Coco gives him a stern and questionable look before she calls him into her office.

Lyra dusts her hand after she moves the last box and looks at me with a sigh of relief “I cant believe it took us 30 min to move those boxes”

“Ya well it was quite heavy and we were basically chatting, oh sorry YOU were gossiping”

She rolls her eyes at me while responding “oh come on angel, the guy is handsome, its hard not to talk about the hair made out of gold and the ocean eyes You can drown in” she says looking at the ceiling, I could visually see her imaging the moment he entered into the place. “Careful babe, I might have to swim in your drool if you keep dreaming” she gives me good punch on the shoulder as I grin at her.

“ANYWAY” she deflects

“ he hasn't come out of her office all this while”

The telephone of the reception rings, rose picks up the phone and starts to speak

“ yeah coco, mm…ok I get it, so a room with two beds at the tranquil hotel”

Me and lyra look at each other after hearing each other “ good time for you Lyra, he’s staying”

“ yeah but at tranquil hotel, coco only makes the ones she is suspicious of at the tranquil hotel so they don't spot the fugitives and also what do you mean its a good time for he is up for grabs you know which also means he is available for you too” she says her last sentence with stupid grin on her face.

“One I'm not the one drooling over him, two coco also puts anyone who comes in new who is not a fugitive in there for probation, he is just following the procedure”

Her grin extends before she speaks

“I’m the one who is drooling huh? Look who is defending him”

“Cut it out” I snap giving her an annoyed look

Coco and the guy walks out

“Angelina dear do me a favour and walk this gentleman to tranquil hotel will you”

Says coco with with kind but commanding voice

“Oh please, call me Aric” he says with a deep but cheerful voice which Lyra practically falls into. I giggle making sure Coco or….Aric notices.

“Yes, Miss Coco, Lyra- come with?”

“Most definitely” she says calmly, only I could sense the excitement in her voice.

“Most definitely not, you have work to do with me Lyra” Coco looks at glaring while making the statement.

“Yes, Miss Coco” she says with her head down.

Right! Lyra’s shift isn’t over. If the new guy wasn’t here she would have shouted right back at her.

We walk to Tranquil hotel as it is quite near. The atmosphere is silent and awkward. He clears his voice “So angelina, is it” Trying to clear the awkward silence. “Yeah” I say with a smile to make it a little comfortable for him to continue. “So how did you get here?” he starts with a strong and personal question leaving me amused.

“How about we start with you” I turn to him as I say that. His blond strands of hair falling into his ocean blue eyes. Any ordinary girl would fall for it… But not this one.. He has got to have way more for me to fall.

He smiles awkwardly

“Oh sorry about that, came out strong huh?”

“Kinda”

“Anyway, long story short I ran”

“Wow that short huh? Then my story isn't much different from yours”

He laughs at my comment, while I smile feeling proud of what I just said. His laugh… quite different, unique don’t know how but it is.

“So I overheard you booked a room with 2 beds, got company?”

“ hopefully yes, it was my plan to run with my brother but got left behind maybe when he can get an excuse to search for me and escape from the guards sight, hearing to your question I get that your observant, which also means you figured out that I’m royal”

“I couldn't help but notice” I say with a sly grin on my face.

“And here we are, sorry to cut this conversation short since my work here is done, I have got to get going, this isn’t my only job right now” I lied through my teeth. I couldn't wait to get home and get a feel of my comfy bed.

“ So you will come back here after work?”

“ maybe, if work doesn't hold me back” I lied again, I can’t let him know there is whole another area where residents are living, at least not today.

“So i’ll see you tomorrow then?”

“Tomorrow” i say smiling

“Have a good night!” I say that as I start walking back.

“Good night”

I catch a glimpse of him smiling at me, feeling his gentleness in that smile, I couldn’t help but widen my smile.

I walk quickly out of there but I could feel his eyes on me as I cut a corner.
