I felt like staying alone.  I was leaving when I saw you with that little girl. Amrita said while pointing towards that girl. 

"Yes.  I didn't like seeing that girl working even at this time of the night, so I bought all her chocolates and sent her home,” Veer said while walking with Amrita.

“You are very good” Amrita said smilingly. 

“Thanks. Do you come here often?” Veer started walking matching his steps. 

“Not every day, but sometimes when the mood is off, I come.  Do you come here every day?” Amrita asked while handling her balloons. 

"Oh no.  I just came today.  Actually, every evening all the people of our chawl come out and talk and spend time. I also spend time with my best friends and their parents.  So coming here is very rare. Veer said 

“oh, so you live with your best friend?” Amrita asked the question. 

“Yes, I was 10 years old when my parents passed away in an accident.  Since then I live with Deva, my best friend and his parents. He never treated me as a stranger and loved me like his own.  So I consider them as my parents and do everything for them. “ Saying this, Veer distributed chocolates to some poor children.  

Amrita was looking at him only. When this boy has so much love in his heart for a stranger, then whichever girl he falls in love with will be very happy.  

Veer distributed all the chocolates, said bye to them and started walking back with Amrita. 

“What makes you happy?” Amrita asked. 

"Meaning ?" Veer asked 

“Means.  What is something that makes you happy? Till now you have told about everyone's happiness but what about your happiness? What does Veer Wadhwani like? What makes Veer Wadhwani happy?” Amrita said While walking, Veer stopped and started looking at Amrita. Till date no one had asked him this question. He had a best friend who sometimes tried to know about Veer's happiness, but everyone else never asked. 

“I like the noise in the silence. I like the peace that I get by looking at this ocean. I want to make myself so capable that I never have to depend on anyone. The day I get all this I will be happy. Veer replied. 

“wow. I am impressed.” Speaking, Amrita started walking and Veer also followed her. 

After reaching Churchgate station, Veer said, “Now I am leaving. It's time for the last train. ,

"Ok.  Please tell me your response next week. I am waiting. “ Speaking, Amrita started playing with the stones lying below. 

“How will you go alone?” Veer asked raising his eyebrows. 

“My driver is about to arrive.  He will pick me up. “Amrita replied. 

“Okay then I will wait till then. Veer also came and stood near him. 

“But you will miss your train,” said Amrita. 

“No problem, the train will start again in 2 hours.  Then I will take the first train home. Veer said 

“So you will miss your train and wait for 2 more hours so that I can go home safely with the driver?” Amrita widened her eyes while asking this. 

Veer said with a shrug of his shoulders, “Yes.  Something like that.”
