New theory... Cirrus is actually is Skylar's bully. Skylar has a mental condition and sees his illusions as the reality... Back in the past Skylar got feelings for Cirrus but the real Cirrus couldn't accept them because he isn't attracted to the same gender. Thus Skylar got hit pretty badly back then by his bully and this caused him the traumatic event where he now sees things, altogether with partial amnesia...
Nevertheless, this reason brings me to the conclusion that next time he will see the "fake" Cirrus he will be "daydreaming" about how he would want their relationship to be like...
Meanwhile the real Cirrus the bully is watching over Skylar from a distance after seeing something weird happening the day that he bullied Skylar for confessing...
