Chapter:5

In the story:

Baekhyun with a surprised face: Oh Sehun? You're here??

Sehun: Ahhhh!

Sehun continued screaming as his feet slipped and he landed on his butt.

Baekhyun: Ouch! Are you ok?

Sehun barely stood back up with Baekhyun's help. Baekhyun was about to touch Sehun's butt when he jumped away from Baekhyun.

Sehun: Hey you pervert!!

Baekhyun: Geez! I am just concerned! Anyways what are you doing here peeking into my house??

Sehun: N-No I was just passing by when I heard a puppy! I just wanted to know where it was from.

Baekhyun: That means you want to meet me.

Sehun: No!

Baekhyun: Since I was a baby, everyone says I look like a puppy because of my puppy like face!

Sehun: No I told you I heard a puppy-

Baekhyun: I guess you didn't read the sign infront of the house. It clearly says 'No animals allowed'.

When Sehun noticed it, he was cursing himself as many as he could think. He was incredibly embarrassed. He cleared his voice and asked..

Sehun: Why didn't you come the past few days?

Baekhyun with a growing smile: Were you worried about me?? Did you miss me??

Sehun: No, I didn't miss you..I'm leaving.

Baekhyun: Hey wait! Actually I was really sick the past few days from cold and flu.

Sehun with concern and his hand over Baekhyun's forehead: What about now? Are you ok?

Baekhyun was so happy it was immeasurable.

Baekhyun with pink cheeks: I'm ok now. I just came from the doctor's office and he said I'm fine now. I'll come to college from tomorrow onwards.

Sehun: Ok.

Baekhyun: I live with quite a few people in the dorm so it would be bothersome and I can't offer you anything like coffee but there's a nice lake around here! Let's go there.

Baekhyun was sure Sehun would reject his offer but shockingly..

Sehun: Sure.

They were headed towards the lake as Baekhyun was giving glances at Sehun. His hair was swaying in the wind. His look was nothing out of the ordinary but he looked so stunning it was unbelievable that he was real.

At the lake:

At first it was awkward silence between them, thinking of a topic to talk about. Baekhyun being a talkative person, broke the silence by talking about the nature and Sehun continued to agree at everything.

They were started to get comfortable when Baekhyun realised Sehun staring at him. Baekhyun looked back at him with a perplexed expression.

Sehun: You didn't wear eyeliner today?

Baekhyun: Oh! You noticed??

Sehun: Yeah. You always wear it.

Baekhyun: I had to go to the doctors in a hurry so I didn't get time. But I'm surprised you noticed!

Sehun: I don't see any other guys wear eyeliner. You're the only one. But it suits you. And you're wearing a different colour than usual. You usually wear white, black, grey or sometime blue.

Baekhyun: Do I look bad in it?

Sehun: Nope. It's perfe- It's good.

Baekhyun gave him a joyous smile.

After some more time, Baekhyun started leaving.

Baekhyun: I'll go home now. I'll see you tomorrow.

Sehun: T-Treat me today!

Baekhyun: Huh?

Sehun: You were eating my brain the past few days wanting to give me a treat! Treat me today.

Baekhyun mumbled: How is everything going so well today?

Baekhyun with a big boxy smile: Let's go! Follow me.

Sehun smiled and followed him.

Baekhyun: So what do you want to have?

Sehun: Bubble tea.

They both went to the bubble tea shop. Baekhyun stood in the queue when Sehun told him to wait.

Right before Baekhyun's turn to order, Sehun returned with a cup of iced americano in his hand.

Sehun: Baekhyun this is for you.

Baekhyun: For me?

Sehun: Yeah. You love to drink a large iced americano with zero sugar right?

Baekhyun with a suspicious look: You knew that? And you here say that I stalk you! You know a lot about me.

Sehun: It's nothing like that! Have your coffee and order my bubble tea.

They had their beverages together.

Baekhyun: The treat was supposed to be me paying for you but you bought the coffee for me. I didn't pay fully so let me pay you for the coffee!

Sehun: No you don't have to. Treat me another day.

Baekhyun was so full of joy that Sehun wanted to spend more time with him.

Sehun: Why are you smiling?

Baekhyun: Nothing. Are you..falling for me Sehun??

Sehun spat his bubble tea.

Sehun while coughing: I think...a tapioca..is stuck..

Baekhyun saved Sehun from choking.

Sehun: No, I don't think of you like that. But I do feel comfortable around you so we can be good friends.

Baekhyun with a pout: So you're friendzoning me? People say that I'm really charming, so let's see how long you'll keep me in the friendzone and think of me as more than your friend!

Sehun while smiling: We'll see.

They were having their beverages while walking towards Baekhyun's house.

Sehun dropped Baekhyun off to his house and bid goodbye.

Baekhyun was so happy he could scream. He had spent the best time of his life with the person he likes.

After Sehun arrived home, he was more jolly than ever. He was trying to study and yet all he could think of was Baekhyun. He kept thinking of Baekhyun since the beginning of their meeting. That petite guy was unknown to him until a few days and now, he already has feelings for that guy.

He was surprised to see such a small person behind a tall person like Kris.Kris is way more taller than him so Baekhyun looked even more smaller than normally.With such innocent eyes, you would feel pity for him, as if you are convinced to help him, like a puppy.

What surprised him was the next day, when he was talking to his only friend who was a girl, he saw Baekhyun peeking into the room. Something that was shocking to him was Baekhyun in a blue sweater and wearing eyeliner. He had never seen a guy wearing eyeliner before it was astonishing how someone, who is not even a girl looked so beautiful in with it. He was stunned when Baekhyun asked to treat him out but he was lost for words as he doesn't make friends easily. What really took him aback was that Baekhyun was following him to places. Although he felt very uncomfortable if it's someone else, he couldn't deny that he enjoyed secretly having Baekhyun's company. He could feel that he had a weakness towards Baekhyun.

He started smiling remembering Baekhyun's craziness.Baekhyun is blunt and jolly minded person. They are quite opposite personalities.He realized Baekhyun's cuteness makes him a different person. He remembered that having such a weakness at this point is difficult.

Sehun thought about something and then he decided it would not be ok for him to date now.

A few days passed:

Sehun still treated Baekhyun like his friend, or so he thought. He was very protective of Baekhyun and often got jealous if Kai or anyone was very close to Baekhyun. Kai always shipped them but he was so disappointed by Sehun's stupidy as he just doesn't admit he likes Baekhyun. Sehun had a friend called Yoona, who hated Baekhyun and Sehun's interactions as although Sehun said they were friends, the way Sehun looked at him, the way he behaved with him, it bothered her a lot..as she has been in love Sehun for years. Baekhyun knew Yoona didn't like his presence but he didn't mind with that at all. To him Sehun is the most important person. He just loves to spend time with him.

Many months passed, it was December now.

After a few days, it's new year.

Oneday Baekhyun and Kai were discussing their new year resolution. Sehun wasn't there.

Kai: My friend Taemin is coming over and I want to spend a great time with him. He is my best friend since childhood you know

Baekhyun: Oh that sounds nice!

Kai: What about you?

Baekhyun: Well you already know that ,I want to break this friendzone! I want to date Sehun!

Kai chuckled a bit.

Sehun heard that from far away.

Some days later Taemin came there.Kai had been busy spending time Taemin, leading Baekhyun to spend more time with Sehun.

One the 31st of December, Kai changed his plans with to spend time with Taemin. Sehun alone until Baekhyun agreed to spend time with him.

When Baekhyun arrived, he was wearing a very big coat with a thick red scarf and mittens. He also had a bag with him. Almost all of his face was covered aside from eyes, nose and cheeks. In Sehun's eyes, he was the most adorable person.

While they were walking, it was white everywhere filled with snow.

There were fairs celebrating Christmas and 31st. They had a lot of street food. Baekhyun noticed that there were roasted chestnuts. They shared the food when Baekhyun spotted teenagers playing with snow.

Baekhyun excitedly: That looks fun! Let's play!

Sehun: No you'll get sick!

Baekhyun didn't listen and threw a snowball at him.

Although Sehun first refused to play, he eventually threw a snowball back at him they started having a snowball fight.

After a few minutes, Baekhyun suddenly Baekhyun kept his bag aside and fell flat on the snow.

Sehun: What are you doing?! You're going to catch a cold!

Baekhyun: It's the last day of year! I don't care!

Baekhyun started making a snow angel on the ground. Sehun was staring at Baekhyun.

Baekhyun: What?

Sehun: You look like an angel, my friend.

Baekhyun in mind: Why did you have to say 'my friend' ?!!

He pursed his lips.

They heard loud sounds of kids.

Kids were making snowmen so Baekhyun followed along with them.

Sehun: Now what are you going to do?

Baekhyun: Nothing much! I'm going to make a snowman!

Sehun: This crazy guy! Acting like a big baby.

Baekhyun: Sehunnie why aren't you helping me?

Sehun: What did you just call me by?

Baekhyun: I called you cutely! 'Sehunnie'..don't you like it?

Sehun with a tiny smile: I like it. No one ever called me cutely.

Baekhyun: You can give me a cute name! Everyone says my cuteness irresistible!

Sehun while chuckling: I'm not really used to it!

Baekhyun with a pout: Fine! Now help me!

Baekhyun made great friends with kids. They gave him some supplies like a carrot for the nose, stones for the mouth and sticks for arms. Sehun was surprised by how quickly Baekhyun was able to bond with anyone. Truly with his adorable charms and bubbly cheerful personality, he was irresistible.

Baekhyun uses all the resources and uses the empty chestnut shells as eyes.

Baekhyun: Look Sehunnie! This is you! The nose is as sharp as yours! But something is missing.

Sehun with a fond smile: What is it?

Baekhyun put his beanie on the snowman and wrapped his scarf around its neck.

Baekhyun: Perfect! Let's take a picture with it!

They took a picture together with the snowman.

Baekhyun looked at his watch.

Baekhyun: Oh no! Let's get to the lake! The fireworks will start soon!

Baekhyun pulled Sehun and dragged him to the lake. Baekhyun was shivering with red ears and a red nose like Rudolph.

Baekhyun: It's so cold!

Sehun: Yeah that's because you left your beanie and scarf on the snowman.

Baekhyun: Oh yeah! I forgot!

Sehun: You're such a goofball. I don't even have a hat or scarf on or I would've give it to you.

Baekhyun: Ah it's fi-

Sehun rubbed his hands together to create heat. He then placed his hands on Baekhyun's face. They looked at each other.Baekhyun's heartbeat skyrocketed.

The moment was broken by all the shouting and cheering for the countdown. Sehun moved his hands away and Baekhyun started shouting the countdown with the others.

7..6..5..4..3..2..1!

Baekhyun shouted: Happy New Year!!

Baekhyun mumbled: ...Sehunie.

Sehun looked deeply into his eyes.

Baekhyun immediately took out a present from his bag and handed it to Sehun.

Baekhyun: Sehunnie this for you.New year gift.

Sehun confused yet excitedly said: Thanks. What's inside?

Baekhyun: See for yourself!

Sehun opened it to see a beautifully patterned red shirt.

Baekhyun: I know you always wear black and white color shirts. It's so beautiful, I think this red will look very good on you. It had an offer I got couple shirts, just in case if you accepted me that time. If we went on a date, we would wear them and spend the entire day together. Anyway If you ever wear this shirt, let me know so that I won't wear this shirt the same day, since we're not a couple.

Baekhyun turned looked at the fireworks while Sehun was staring at him intensely.

Baekhyun: Sehunnie look isn-

Sehun pulled Baekhyun while cupping his face.

Sehun while looking at Baekhyun's eyes deeply: Fuck! I can't do this anymore.

Sehun pressed his cold lips on Baekhyun's soft pink lips . Baekhyun was in complete shocked.After their kiss broke, Sehun caressed Baekhyun's face with love.

Sehun: Happy New Year. Let's date, Baekie!..

Baekhyun continued staring at him blankly.

Sehun: What?

Baekhyun: Sehunnie is this because of my words? Did you do this out of pity?

Sehun: Not at all. Actually, you may not believe me but, I've liked you for a very long time. I was such a stupid guy! My financial situation isn't great and I've had quite a bit stress. I have seen many people whose lovely relations were broken up because of money. All I thought before dating someone I need to settle myself first.I don't have job Baekie.I want to pamper you a lot.I thought I can't be make you happy.That's why I was scared..scared of losing you.

Baekhyun looked at him with so much affection.

Sehun: But, I just can't resist you. I don't want you to choose anyone else. Believe me, I really love you, Baekie. So can I be your boyfriend? Can I?

Baekhyun: I can't believe what's going on!

Sehun gave a peck.

Sehun: Now you believe me?

Baekhyun shook his head as a no.

Sehun gave another peck.

Sehun: Now?

Baekhyun said no.

Sehun kissed him again.

Baekhyun was blushing hard.

Sehun: Now?

Baekhyun said no again.

Sehun laghed and hugged him. Baekhyun giggled.
