Chapter:4

In the story:

Baekhyun: Maybe it's crazy because it happened so quickly but...I like you Oh Sehun, I really like you...

Sehun with wide open eyes: What?!!

Baekhyun: What? Why are you overreacting? Couldn't you tell by my behavior?

Sehun: I guess you're thinking too much about me. Forget me and do something else.

Baekhyun: No! I can't focus on anything else because I really like you!

Sehun: You only like me because I saved you a few times, nothing else.

Baekhyun: When you saved me, I was overwhelmed and touched but I think, even if you didn't save me and I met you in a different way, I still would've liked you.

Sehun: Tell me one other reason you like me aside from saving you. Don't say things like "You're so handsome ". It's too common.

Baekhyun: To be honest, I don't know why I like you! I just..like you! I don't know if you're supposed to have a reason to like someone but I can guarantee, you're not just my mere crush, I really like you and will always do - I swear!

Baekhyun noticed Sehun's entire face was pink.

Sehun: I'm leaving!

Baekhyun: So, is that a rejection?

Sehun: Yeah.

Baekhyun looking at Sehun with big puppy eyes: Why? Don't you like me? Am I that ugly?

Sehun: No. I just..don't want to go into a relationship. I hope you won't disturb me ever again.

Sehun was starting to leave when he looked back to see a very gloomy, hopeless expression on Baekhyun's face.

Baekhyun bowed and apologized.

Baekhyun: I'm sorry I disturbed you..

Sehun left from there but the truth is Sehun felt a pang in his heart with even realizing why.

That night, Sehun kept thinking about Baekhyun. It's true that Sehun had received a lot of confessions before and he was able to let go of them very quickly, but for Baekhyun, it was incredibly sincere and something special. It's true that Baekhyun had acted a bit crazy for him, but he truly was the cutest and most genuine person ever.

Sehun: No I can't think about that now!

Next day Baekhyun was sitting by the swimming pool with his toes dipped in the pool. He was usually quiet and sad.

Kai noticed him and sat next to him.

Kai: Hey shorty! Whassup?

Baekhyun: You?

Kai: Oh I'm the bestfriend of the guy you like.

Baekhyun: Oh Sehun's??

Kai: Ha! My suspicions were right! You do like Sehun!

Baekhyun: Yeah..

Kai: Why're you so upset today? Sehun didn't come that's why? He might come later although I don't surely know.

Baekhyun: No it's because he rejected me...

Kai with his one eyebrow raised: Really? When did that happen?

Baekhyun: Last night I told him, I like him but he rejected me and told me not to disturb him.

Kai: Are you serious?! My friend is an idiot! It's ok, don't be upset! There aren't that many people here today so let's swim together! You swam like a puppy last time right? Show it to me and I'll try!

Baekhyun: You noticed??

Kai: Not only me but Sehun did too! He showed it to me and even laughed about it a lot. Moreover he even called you cute!

Baekhyun: Really?? He did?? He called me cute??

Baekhyun's face lit up with a bright smile.

Kai: Yeah, I'm telling the truth. Now let's swim!

They were swimming when Baekhyun asked..

Baekhyun: So how did you know I like Sehun?

Kai: Well, I am the heartthrob of this college! The most handsome here and yet you chose my bestfriend to help you. It was obvious! And I've seen you hang around him a couple of times!

Kai in mind: I guess that idiot will understand that he likes Baekhyun too.

Suddenly Sehun came, and he was utterly shocked. Baekhyun and Kai were both swimming in puppy style and laughing.

Sehun: Huh? Since when were these two so close?

Sehun entered the water.

Kai: Oh you're here!

Baekhyun: I guess it's getting late. I should be going.

After Baekhyun left, Sehun questioned Kai.

Sehun: Why are so close to Baekhyun? And how?

Kai: We just met. He was really friendly and we became friends!

Sehun: You know he likes me.

Kai: So?

Sehun: That means you don't have a chance.

Kai gave him a smirk and started leaving.

Sehun: Yah!! Why are you leaving? And what's the meaning of that smirk?

Kai: Nothing. My time for swimming is over.

Kai left from there.

Sehun: Baekhyun proposed to me yesterday and today he was so close to Kai! Did he move on already?!! My head's getting too hot! I need to cool it.

Sehun dunked himself into the water.

Another day:

Sehun was passing with his lunch looking for Kai when he found Kai feeding Baekhyun while he was on his phone.

Sehun: Kai you're here? I was looking for you. You're having lunch without me.

Baekhyun: Kai I'm full!

Kai: No Baekhyun! You didn't even eat much! Have another bite!

Baekhyun: Kai let's meet later.

Kai: I brought my bike today! I'll drop you off.

Baekhyun: Ok.

Baekhyun left from there. Sehun sat next to Baekhyun.

Sehun: Hey Kai! You left me and started hanging out with him?! And you were feeding him! What's going on??

Kai: What's your problem? The fact that me and him are hanging out or that I fed him? Do I need to feed you too?

Sehun: Shut up! I didn't mean it like that! You know that he likes me!

Kai rolled his eyes.

Kai: You already told me that! And why does that matter? You don't like him. You already rejected him.

Kai left from there.

Sehun in mind: He can do whatever he wants! But, did Baekhyun already move on from me already? Kai's very handsome and a lot more likeable than me.

Sehun stuffed his entire with food.

One day, Sehun went to a bubble tea shop when he felt someone standing behind him. He turned around to notice, it was Baekhyun.

Sehun: You? You're still following me diabetes?! I thought you moved on from me. I already rejected you. And didn't I tell you to stop following me?

Baekhyun: I-

Surprisingly, Kai ran after Baekhyun.

Kai: I'm sorry Baekhyun! I was late!

Sehun: Kai what are you doing here?

Kai: To inspect the bubble tea shop...of course to have a bubble tea. What can we do in a bubble tea shop?

Sehun: No I mean...whenever I ask you to have bubble tea together, you deny  everytime. And he is with you...

Kai: I told Baekhyun that I was going to treat him to bubble tea but I was late. Let's go order!

Sehun: But you never treated me to anything!

Kai: Hey kid! Why are you jealous of everything? Don't tell me..you're falling in love with me!

Sehun: What?!

Kai: No I can't accept you...

Sehun: Yah! What are you even saying?! By the way what's wrong with me? Why can't you accept me?

Kai: Sorry dude....You are not my type....

Sehun: I don't like you either. Now just shut up! And treat me coffee today

Baekhyun was watching their cute bickering, although Sehun's behavior was a bit bitter towards him but with Kai , Baekhyun could see his real self....Sehun seemed really cute...

After they ordered, Baekhyun and Kai sat at a separate table to Sehun. Sehun kept glancing at Baekhyun but Baekhyun didn't.

Sehun didn't want to admit but he was in fact very upset as he wasn't receiving Baekhyun's attention.

The next day, Sehun and Kai were eating lunch and looked for Baekhyun but he wasn't there.

A few days passed and Baekhyun still didn't come to college.

He was not seen anywhere, not classes, not canteen and not even in the swimming classes.

Kai and Sehun were swimming when Sehun asked..

Sehun: Do you know where Baekhyun is?

Kai: I don't know.

Sehun: Did you call him?

Kai: He didn't pick it though. He didn't even respond to my texts.

Sehun: Did you not try to find out another way? It's been a few days since he was in.Is he alright?

Kai: No I didn't. If you're so worried why don't you try to find out yourself?

Sehun: I'm not that interested in him. I just didn't see him that's why I asked.

Kai: Yeah yeah I got it coconut head.

After swimming class, in the evening, Sehun was roaming around Baekhyun's dorm to just get a glance at him.

When people from the dorm were leaving, Sehun was pretending to turn somewhere else as if he was never looking at the building.

When he noticed there no people around, Sehun gave up and climbed on top of the wall to see if anything could be spotted from there to Baekhyun's house.

He couldn't see anyone when he heard a voice from behind him.

Someone: Hey! What are you doing here? Are you some kind of thief?

He was very startled and as he looked down, it was Baekhyun.

Baekhyun with a surprised face: Oh Sehun? You're here?!
