From four to two

Snaren and Pescara free themselves from the shadow holding. From releasing enough magic around them to form a barrier to escape. "Thank you for the practice, but we have a very important meeting." Snaren shrugs from the stiffness *They beat up and tie the assassins for the guards when they arrive.* "With this money, we can subdue the first layers of the curse." "It's almost time for us to meet the head priest healer." They both head to the giant white temple in the middle of town. The receptionist lets them pass after a brief explanation, they nod to each other as they pass the doorway to see the man. "I heard you have enough compensation for my services." Says the white bearded man sitting down on a pale marble seat. "I didn't know that's how you say hello in this kingdom." Snaren jokingly says "I'm only here for business, pleasantries are for old friends. Now are you going to pay or can I leave already?" The man seems impatient. "We're here to help cure the first layers of the curse mark. And as previously stated, we have the gold for it." Pescara slams the bag of gold onto a nearby table to draw emphasis and to redirect the conversation. "I get the message. Come with me to the blessing room. That's the place with the most holy magic in the whole castle." *The old saint directs the group to a giant marvelous room filled with gorgeous marble columns and glowing holy runes adorned by the walls.* "Please kneel on this magic circle, so we can begin the ritual." The hooded saint begins chanting, and the magic circle begins to glow with a golden hue. "It burns!" Pescara yells in pain. "Please just hold on a little longer. You should feel a great deal off your shoulders, and you can grow even more powerful than before! I believe in you!" Snaren tries to calm Pescara down, so they can finish the healing magic. "We can stop soon. You're almost free from the first layers. You can start using magic again without feeling pain." *With these final words the spell is complete. The curse mark fades a little and Pescara finally catches her breath* "You never told me it would hurt that badly!" She gets up and punches Snaren square on his arm. "You were going to lose your magic entirely, and then you were going to die. I don't know you very well, but I'm not going to just let you die. I didn't tell you about the pain because I thought you might hesitate." Snaren explains while rubbing his bruised arm. "We have completed our deal. Leave this holy place." The group of saints usher the two outsiders back outside. "There's these sacred pools my people bathe in to heal illnesses. This is where we part ways friend. I'm glad you were here for me." Pescara hugs Snaren and the two part ways

Redenna has the room at a quiet counter under her unyielding arua. The embassies from the two other councils look in disgust at each other.
