Yeom entered his room and slammed the door. His father sighed heavily at what he did. Yeom ate the cup noodles he grabbed and opened his cellphone because he received a message from the company. While slurping his noodles, Yeom read the message, "Is there a problem? Why do I need to come early tomorrow? What does that arrogant boss want me to do now?" Yeom muttered as he read the message. After finishing his meal, he headed to the bathroom to take a shower. After showering, Yeom dried his hair before lying down to sleep.
"Morning time"
"Son, don't you want to join your dad for breakfast or at least have some coffee?" Yeom's stepmother asked him. "No, thank you. I will just eat later on I have to go early in my work And Please don't call me your son your not my real mother," Yeom replied to his stepmother.
"Yeom!... What are you saying to your auntie!" Yeom's dad shouted angrily at him for his disrespectful behavior. "Don't you know how to respect your auntie! She's worried about you, and you treat her like that," Yeom's dad was about to approach him, but his stepmother stopped him. "That's enough, darling!. Maybe he just doesn't want me to be called as my son, and maybe he also doesn't want me to take care of him like my own child," his stepmother said, pretending to cry while embracing his dad's left hand. "I'm leaving," Yeom said and turned away from them.
-TIME SKIP-
"YOU'RE LATE," Xavier said, staring at Yeom with his mischievous brown eyes fixed on Yeom's eminently kissable mouth. "I'm really sorry, sir! I didn't realize I was running late. I'm truly sorry," Yeom apologized, bowing to his boss.
"Apology not accepted that not an enough reason for you to be late!.(ah let's just forget about it Xavier)in thoughts. Now, I want you to come with me; I have a lot of things to discuss with you," he said to Yeom. "Yes, Sir," Yeom replied.
Yeom went to Xavier's office because he wanted to discuss something with him. Yeom knocked on the door, "come in," Xavier said to Yeom. "Have a seat. I still have a lot to do, so listen carefully to what I'm going to dictate to you," he said, starting to dictate the things Yeom needed to do. "You'd better make a rough draft of that," he instructed. "There may be alterations," Xavier told Yeom. "Very well, Sir," Yeom answered with a nod. "Then you'd better start on that draft now," he said abruptly.
Indeed, some of the documents were twenty pages thick. Yeom walked briskly towards the door to leave. He was about to open the door when his boss spoke, causing him to stop and turn around, seeing his boss smiling mischievously at him. "And the siesta season hasn't started yet!" His final warning before Yeom left.
Yeom sat at his desk. He let out a long sigh of relief. Too much of his boss's presence was more than he could stand, yet his office seemed empty and devoid of vitality without his masculine dynamism. Yeom started his work, afraid of encountering Xavier who was just standing idly by.
While Yeom was in the middle of his work, there was a knock on the door. "Disturbing my work,(Yeom signed)" Yeom said as he opened the door. "Oh, it's you, Riko. Is there something important?" Yeom asked the woman he was talking to. "Umm... Jheong-bin said..." Riko said, her cheeks turning red. "What do you mean, Riko?" Yeom asked, puzzled. "Oh, I'm sorry! Umm, can you please tell Sir Xavier that his mom wants to talk to him on the phone?" Riko said and then ran away. "I'm still puzzled why is she acted Like that?," Yeom said to himself and headed to Xavier's office.
Yeom gave a warning knock on the door, "WHAT'S?" Xavier asked Yeom before Yeom opened the door. "I'm really sorry for bothering you, sir—" Yeom didn't finish his sentence. "What do you want? Tell me first before I burn these papers on your face," Xavier said to him, staring at Yeom with his sharp eyes. "Sir, your mom wants to talk to you," Yeom said, still looking at him, and then said, "I don't have time to engage in meaningless chitchat with them," Xavier replied. " Very well Sir, I'm gonna tell Ma'am Irish that you have a lot of things to do," Yeom turned around, but as he walked away, he stepped on his shoelace and fell onto a small table.
Yeom lay on the floor next to the broken expensive PRINCE OF THE LILIES vase. Yeom turned pale at what he did and swallowed hard as he saw Xavier staring at his broken vase, unable to believe what he saw.
