The town was filled with folks wandering around, as usual, full of joy and warm scenery...

Contrast with what met Hans and Frenia in one of the empty streets, the dark side of the town, a bunch of cowards standing in front of them, pointing their weapon, a hint of negative encounter.

One of the gang takes their step closer, pride on his face.

"Let's make it quick, Sir adventurer"

"The girl behind you looks pretty..."

"But i dont think you can keep her safe?"

A slight laugh can be heard from the other members while their leader speaks.

"What about you lend her to us? we make sure to keep her sa—"

Before finishing his word, a quick slash, slicing the leader hand, separating from its body.

A split second, the leader seems to not register what happened, then realizing, he drew his weapon, trying to attack.

"YOU BASTA—"

Followed by a quick slash sequence by Hans, both his hands now on the ground, leaving only his body standing, Armless.

A few seconds later, the leader fell into the ground, Hans gazed onto the rest of the gang member with his fierce eyes, with a splat of blood on his face, increasing the tension of his existence, scared by the eerie scene, the rest of the gang members proceeded to run with panic.

After they disappear from sight, Hans closes the black sword into its sheath, after the blade is fully covered, his heart beats suddenly stop, making him lose consciousness.

He wakes up in the dark place again...

"This is not funny"

This time, he was alone in the dark place, till slowly a voice passed his head.

"Great power comes with great responsibility..."

"Freedom granted to the champion... however, is this Freedom really the one the champion seeks?"

The sound of giggles end the metaphor, suddenly a ray of light shines from the darkest sky.

Restvhia appears from the light.

"Hello again, Child of Light"

"I gave you my treasure, but i haven't opened it for you"

"What you mean?"

"Do you really deserve my treasure?"

"Once you use my true power, you are no longer a Human"

"This is a Curse that grants you power"

His head turns, following Restvhia move while ready to draw his sword.

"How kind of you to think of me"

Her body flickered there and there, her appearance seemed glitched.

"It would be a waste if you become a monster"

"i need you for my future plan"

"What plan?"

"Prove yourself worthy if you want to know"

Restvhia takes her step closer toward Hans.

"Fight me, Here"

Without hesitation, his hand moves, drawing the sword who was given by Restvhia herself, sudden tension arises, the scene changes from pitch black to empty white room like place.

Black feathers raining from the sky, four Black wings grows from Restvhia body, Hans take his step back, his foot look like dodging an attack, however its just a trick of him, one of his feet touch the ground, accumulating force before lunged at her in high speed, only blink of his silhouette can be seen.

However, easily she catches his sword, with giggles, she draws her own weapon out of the air, after little light illuminates her hand, a rapier comes to her hand.

Hans struggles to take the sword out of her grip, while Restvhia about to thrust the rapier into his body, one centimetre distance of her rapier point from his eyes, his body shatter like a glass, suddenly appear behind her, her eyes was wide open for a second, surprised.

From behind, his hand moved to the left, preparing to slash her body into half, A quick succession of sword slices was made, but her body remained intact.

"Remember? Power isn't enough to beat me"

A little smile rises on her lips, raising her hand, a glow of red light envelope in her hand, a crest symbolizes an arrow appears in front of her finger, Hans eyes quickly focusing on her hand, sound of chain start to rise up, before suddenly five sequence of arrow-shaped dark magic flies right in front of him.

His hand rose up, quickly countering her attack, unfortunately, one hit his body, making a hole in his body, he didn't fall, instead, lunged at her with quick speed, a small movement on her lips, she raised her rapier, at the same time, in the exact same place, their weapon thrust each other.

Her right hand moves onto Hans hair, Gently pat him.

"Child of Light..."

"I was originally a Celestial being"

Hans with the rapier still on his heart, raises his head up, making contact with her eyes.

"I was known as Restvhia the Valiant"

Hans turns his vision around.

"Why are you here then"

"As my strength grows, power rises up, fears are how i describe their faces"

"They sent me to the battlefield, I charged into the abyss, i beat the previous Lord Darkness, only to be met by disappointment, the gate to Celestial Realm was closed, my authority was erased, then, I'm stuck in the Human World"

"I ran into the Abyss, isolating myself, claiming the title of Lord Darkness, and here i am now..."

"I want you to go into the Celestial Realm, and write down my name on the Authority"

Ray of light shines from her hand, slowly she releases the rapier that stuck on his chest, but the sword can't be pulled out.

"After a century of loneliness, i want to tell them how i feel"

Her words end with a little smile, Hans back up, regaining his mind.

"Petty story"

"Then what do you mean by curse?"

"If you die, i will take your body until you regenerate your soul in this domain"

"Immortal, even after you write my name on the Authority Grimoire"

"What if you die when controlling me?"

"Your body will die, but your consciousness including myself will stay in this domain, or the sword, Forever..."

"At that time, we can make a new physical form for us"

"Sounds lonely"

"Just like me"

The atmosphere is dead silent, both of them seem to be having the same thing on their head...

"If that brings me power, then it's a little price to pay"

Restvhia hand quickly moves his head, forcing him to make eye contact with her.

"Then..."

A little smile, a bright light illuminates around their body, a strange symbol appears on Hans wrist.

"As thy speak, one should follow, from the darkest abyss, to the illuminating light of Celestial, let this insignia serve purpose for one immortality"

Slowly her wings started to wither and disappear...

Meanwhile....

A chirping sound of Succubus annoyed by her companion, fallen out of nowhere.

Her hand delivers a stable flow of energy, green ray lights up the surrounding area, and the healing magic was cast on Hans.

Slowly, Hans eyes started to move, getting his blurred vision back clear, Frenia appeared on his vision, and looked worried.

"Such a fool of you to fall asleep in the middle of nowhere"

Annoyed, she light punched his chest.

"Your boss talks alot"

"She is not my boss!"

"Anyway, are you lost consciousness because of her call?"

"She tells me bedtime story"

"Lord Darkness isn't that type of person, say the least i know her sorrow"
