New objective

While moving towards the shore Lucifer thought of what his next move should be. If he should fight the gods directly or chip out on what the gods have for a full-fledged war.

Freyja obsessed her future husband with great interests. Who she once thought was a weak and stupid person now looked completely different. In her eyes Lucifer had become someone she could trust at least in case of knowledge.

Their lonely time was coming to an end as they approached the shore. Getting off the boat they found Morb the man who had made a bet with them. Morb looked tired, so tired one would say he could fall at any moment.

Morb greeted them with a shocked face as if he was now conformed of something he had been thinking about. He said "So you were not as stupid as you look. Did you get what you wanted or did you not find the World Serpent".

"We were lucky enough to meet the World Serpent as for our return we have found what we were looking for. Now will you play your part of the bet now that you have lost" said Lucifer.

"Sure thing brother, a promise made is a promise kept" said Morb.

"But, Mr we made no promises, but a bet" said Freyja.

"Call me Morb and it's a line my uncle used to say when I used to live with him. Here you are the weapons as promised" said Morb.

They said farewell and left to continue their conquest to bring down the gods once and for all. Lucifer knew better than anyone how it felt to be played with, used as a weapon of war, how truly cruel the gods really were. Except a countable few all gods were his enemy for life.

While watching the couple leave Morb was in deep thoughts. He could only think who the two wanderers were who were third to all the people he knew who came back unharmed from the World Serpent. He had an odd feeling that he will bump into this duo again.

Lucifer and the Shadow of Time were already at a discussion of what to do. If they used the World Fragments right now the gods will sense them. They only way to stop that is entering a restricted area where mana do not exist. See the worried face of her husband Freyja was uncomfortable and couldn't think of a way to ask about it either. Lucifer settled on going towards the Empty World an area where only matter exist. Looking forward to what they could do with the World Fragments. One was supposed to be eaten by Freyja and the other was to be absorbed by the Shadow of Time. Lucifer knew one think the stronger the Shadow of Time will be the stronger he could be.

They kept moving towards the area reaching it was easy as Lucifer knew how to, the main problem was how to enter the Empty World. If not careful one can lose their life in a world like that. It being their only way to escape the gods eyes they decided to enter anyway. Risking one's life could only be done by the brave and determined. Lucifer was filled with determination to take the gods down and Freyja as a Valkyria couldn't back down from trying to get stronger with her future husband. Their risk taking was not in vain as they safely entered a world unknown.
