Lost past

Day 30-

Returning to the Valkyries Clan was easier than anticipated by me. After some rest I went out to see those girls at their farm. Staying there the whole day to decrease the suspension on me. The guards looked at me with disgust for no particular reason. I hate them all they do is stand at the Clan entrance and disturb people or just me.

At night, I sneaked my way through the village to the chieftain's hut. Took me some time, but I got to her room, waited till the maid and caretakers were out. I slowly approached the chieftain avoiding any noise. Suddenly the door opens. Using the mark to stop time. Successful hiding behind one of the decorations. The chieftain's daughter came in the wrong time. Now I am out of energy because of using the mark too many times. I can most like only use it once more.

After she left I approached the chieftain once again. Brought out the petals and place it in her mouth. After she swallows it all the ice forming on her body started to melt, and she opened her eyes. I did not anticipate that she will wake up so fast. I was about to leave a letter and let her find me, but the now everything is not according to my plan. I was scared as she scanned me top to bottom. She then fainted. I think the healing process was interrupted by her to look who saved her before letting things flow. Most likely she wanted to know who was helping or trying to kill her. I guess she was at ease after scanning me top to bottom.

Day 31-

I woke up from the noise of shouting from outside. The guards were there. They were calling me for something. Then I remembered I executed the plan yesterday, so the chieftain is calling for me. I was so exhausted I couldn't even do any training before falling asleep.

I followed the guards hesitantly to avoid any more suspicion. Mr. Shadow of Time was in a jolly mood. I was confused from his attitude and not to say annoyed from his continuous singing. Soon we were face to face with an old, weak, but energetic old woman. She looked happy to see me. Her daughter sat next to her holding her hand. I had saved the chieftain, and she had invited me for a meal.

We entered a room. The other worldly smell of the food attracted my attention. Keeping my composure I said "Miss how may I help you? ". The reply was unexpected. She said" Kid how old are you? ". I was confused. Answered with 17 as the body I have been thrown into was that of a 17 to 18-year-old boy. She looked into my eyes for a brief moment before throwing a question which just made my head spin. She asked me to marry her daughter.

I came to fight her and her mother wants me to marry her daughter. I did not anticipated this outcome. Holding my breath I looked them with a confused look.
