"Detective Ash, I want you to meet this man."

He looked at me without any emotions showed in his eye's. His eye's are way to calm.

"This is Zachary Devereaux also known as Detective Zev."

"Nice to meet you detective Zev."

He just smile and drink his coffee.

"So what business do I have here lieutenant Hendrick?"

I asked while looking at him.

"The thing is... This new case is way to serious that's why we need to be serious too. "

"And??"

"Detective Zev will be joining your team Detective Ashtrid."

What the?? So this is why he called me early in the morning, I thought I could get a very useful information but instead I'm meeting a new problem.

"Detective Ash,is there something wrong?"

"No,no there's nothing. Well I'm honored to have you detective Zev I heard from the others that you are a half Japanese and also I heard that you solve almost 100 cases from different countries."

"Thank you for the compliment."

"So that's it. I guess I'll get going now lieutenant Hendrick."

I said without lookin' at the man.

"Thank you for coming here detective Ashtrid."

"No problem."

I walked out and left the three of them.

*SIGHED*

"Ryle."

"Good morning detective Ash do you need anything?"

"I want to meet the relatives of the victim. "

"Oh~ Please come here detective Ash."

I just followed him until we reached at the small room where a beautiful young lady sat down with a cup of coffee on the table surrounded by the sunlight,her face is pale while looking at her coffee.

"May I come in?"

I asked politely.

"Yes."

I walked inside and sat down on the brown sofa which is I'm facing her.

"Hello you must be Mrs. Walker? I'm detective Ashtrid, are you okay if I asked a few questions?"

I looked at her directly and smiled at her.

"Sure."

"Um.. what time does your husband usually leave Mrs. Walker?"

For a second she remained silent and I just let her be.

"He usually leave at 7 am and he comes back home at 10-12 o'clock ."

"I see. Before the incident when he leaves the house did you sense something's wrong at him?"

She looked at her coffee and her tears started to fell out.

"Here use this handkerchief of mine."

She take my handkerchief and slowly wiped her tears,and clears her throat before she answer my question.

"Before he leaves the house we we're happily eating together he even cooked for our breakfast. Then he called me in the afternoon and he was so happy because someone gave him a tip, before he hungs up he told me that he will be home late and I just said that I'll be waiting for him and,and i-i didn't think h-he would end up like that."

She cried out loud that makes the room sadder.

"I'm sorry for your loss Mrs. Walker I guess that's enough for now. Thank you for your corporation even though you're in this situation."

She just cried. I called Ryle to send Mrs. Walker back home.

I was left alone in this tiny room where the sunlight hits my soft skin.

"What a headache."

I closed my eye's for a moment.

I said without looking who's Knocking the door.

"Detective Ash,one of the employees of the shop where the victim works at want's to meet you."

"What does he want?"

I just listened to him.
