Lisa walked away from me and went back to the kitchen, we talked while they cooked, my father arrived later and we all ate together, my father and Alec hit it off quickly and they got to talking during dinner and after it was over, Lisa offered to do the dishes so she could spend time with my mother and I thanked her, we went outside and sat on the pergola where I always read as a child.
"I'm happy for you Azula, it's been so long since I've seen you smile like you do when you look at the alpha king."
I smiled and took her hands. - I feel happy mother, like I haven't felt in a long time.
"A long time ago I saw your spark go out, you stopped being you and you pushed us all away from you, I know that finding out what you were was hard for you and having to keep that secret pushed you away from everyone, I felt bad that I couldn't help you, but I understood that you were no longer a little girl, I had to let you grow up and solve your own problems, you have fought and survived the storm my little girl, I am proud of you."
I hugged my mother tightly, feeling so happy in her arms, we stayed there for a while hugging until we decided to go into the house, everyone was talking in the living room and we joined the conversation, we talked about everything and nothing until that conversation I didn't want to have came up.
