... “Will you take this handsome man as your rightful wedded husband?” The Priest asked the woman.

“Yes I do” She answered shyly.

“Man will you take this beautiful woman as your rightful wedded wife?” The priest asked Eric.

“Yes I do” Eric answered, and he smiled at her.“Then I pronounce you husband and wife” The Priest said, and he blessed them.

After a short while the reception started. They both walked around holding hands, greeting the guests until the end of the party. When they got home, she was shy because this night was the night, she couldn’t help thinking if it will be painful as other women presumed.

When she was busy thinking and trying too calm down her anxiety, she didn’t notice when her husband brought out a dagger and approached her.

When she was busy running her mind wild, she felt a sharp pain in her abdomen and she looked up, and she saw her so-called husband who proposed and vowed today to love, care and protect her holding the dagger which was already inside her body.

“W…why?” She asked with a breaking voice.

“Why? Eldest sis you’re just a fool, do you think he loved you? Don’t get your hopes too high. I am the one he truly loves not you” Kate her little sister said from behind. Eric quickly went and stood beside Kate.

“Eric, is what she’s saying really true. Eric did you really lie to me? No, This is all a joke right, you vowed today that you will protect me. You are not Eric you are an imposter, where is my Eric?”

“Shut up Edvina, do you really think you are comparable to Kate, What I did back there was just a show. The person I truly love is Kate not you” He rebuked as her fell to the floor in surprise.

"Honey why are we even wasting our time on her, let’s just end it" Kate said and Eric agreed picking up a can of diesel and began to pour it around.

"You can’t kill me, our parents we’ll surly look for me" She threaten knowing that she needed to survive the situation. She was desperate to live, she couldn’t die like this and let these two shameless couple be happy.

"Sis are you dumb or something, our parents won’t even care if you disappear, they have already given us their blessings. So you were just a chess piece, and now you have served you purpose, there is no need for you to be around anymore.

“Haha…of course you two are meant for each other, a cheating boyfriend and his bitchy sister-in-law. Wow, what a perfect match in heaven” She ghostly said coughing out a pool of blood.

“Just see who is talking, someone that is already close to her death door. By the time I lit the fire, you will be long forgotten. I promise you” She said and Eric returned to her side.

She evilly looked at Edvina before bringing out the lighter from her purse. She clicked it and threw it away, the moment it touched the ground, fire caught the surroundings and Kate and Eric walked out holding hands
