CHAPTER 01

What is this place? I heard the sound of footsteps going to the glowing light. I heard a pluck, I heard something combust. What was that? "This is what you're looking for right?" The 'man' held something in front of me. He has a Time flower. I can't let him touch me with that. I felt something soft yet hard touch me in the forehead. It combusted again. "Good." What did he...? He's done it again... Everything turned a deep black. When I woke up I felt a man's warmth next to me, he wasn't touching me at all...yet I felt a warmth diluting to my left. "Nnnhh?" I looked to my left and right. I didn't see anybody. "Are you awake?" I heard the man's voice.

"What?" I looked him in the eyes. His eyes are golden... "What happened? Where am I?" I asked the man in front of me. "Before we get to that. What's your name?" He smiled at me. "My name...?" I don't remember where I am...Or who I am. "Would it help, if I reminded you?" He put his finger on my nose. "Yes...That would help." His hand is gentle. "Your name...Is Atlus." He put a finger to my forehead. I remember...my childhood. "Do you know who you are now?" He retracted his finger back where it used to be. "I'm...your lover?" He smiled maliciously. "Yes. That's right." I don't know this man yet...I have to be cautious. "No need to be scared." He got up and touched my shoulders. "I-I see..." He smiled at my answer. I should still be careful. "I can introduce you to the people who live with us." He smiled at the people sitting at the table.

They weren't there before.... Was I hallucinating? "This is Anne." A girl that looked like a deer waved at me. "Hi..." I said to her. "Hello to you too." She smiled warmly. "This is the twins." He smiled at two young boys. "They don't have names." He put his hand on their heads. They look scared... But why? He's so nice... "This is Silfir." A man with red hair and blue eyes looked at me...and looked back down at his book. "Be nice." The man looked at him and looked back at me. "And I'm... Orion." He looked at me, his brown hair is long, his eyes are golden...and his hands are gloved. But they're big. He has a muscular build. "What's wrong?" Orion asked me. "Nothing...I was just thinking you're very beautiful." They looked at me in shock. Did I do something wrong? "Thank you." They all looked at him in disbelief. He whispered something to them, and they went back to normal. "Now. Anne, will you show him to his room. He was never comfortable sleeping with me." He sighed and left the room. Where's he going? If we're lovers...why aren't we sleeping together?

The girl took my hand and smiled warmly at me. She led me down a short hallway made of wood. "Where am I?" I asked her. She looked at me and shrugged. "Just... Orion's ship...we'll be getting off tomorrow though. He's found what he's been looking for." She looked so sad. She showed me to a room. "This is your room." She closed the door behind me. Is she mad at me? I don't get it... The door opened. "Dinner's almost ready." The two twins looked up at me and ran out right after. What do I even look like...? There was a mirror behind me, I walked to it and looked at myself. Is this my face? It's pretty... I walked out of the room and tried to find my way to the dining room. "Where am I going?' I felt a hand on shoulder. I turned around quickly. "Relax, it's me... Orion." He smiled and led me to the dining room.

"You sit next to me." He pulled a chair out. The girl sat on the end of the table, she glared at me, she looked angry. Like she wanted to kill me... Or jealousy. "Hey. Anne, don't look at him like that, you're scaring him." He threw a pea at her forehead. "Now. Tomorrow... A new person will be living with us...Atlus. Atlas you're coming home with us." He smiled at me. But I was looking at Anne...she looked angry and sad at the same time. What's wrong with Anne? She looked so friendly earlier.

"Did you hear me. Atlas?" I looked over at Orion, he looked mad. "Y-Yes...I saw- I mean heard..." No way he's going to believe that... "Good. Now. You're coming to my room later, Atlas." Huh...for what? "Why...?" Everyone looked scared. Why do they all look scared? I'm confused. "I want to talk to you about something He smiled and stabbed the meat on his plate. "O... Ok." Is he going to hurt me? After dinner was finished Orion pulled me aside. And into a room. Is this his room? "Hey, look. Don't pay any mind to Anne...she's been angry ever since you came here." He sighed. So he won't hurt me? "You're not going to hurt me? The others looked scared earlier." I looked down. "They just don't like lectures. That's what they thought I wanted you for." He sighed. "Oh... We're lovers right?" I asked him, he looked surprised and then regained his calm demeanor. "Yes, why?" He smiled. "Why aren't we sleeping in the same bed then?" I looked him in the eyes. "You were never comfortable like that. We can when we get home. If you want." He told me and excused me from his room.

I'm sleepy... My eyelids felt heavy. I shut my eyes.
