Lone. Born From A Lotus.

The prophecy.

In a far far away land, there was a place called home by countless of creatures, this was also Du Xing's home.

"Du Xing" was the adopted daughter of "Queen Hua", the goddess of flowers.

The girl was living with her mother in the "Flora realm", a southern corner of the Holy Land. She never had contact with the outside world, that's why she was so excited to hear more about it from the passing travelers.

Queen Hua desperately wanted a child but in Flora Realm any women who was having contact with a man, was losing her powers and becoming a mortal. As the goddess of the flowers, she needed her heavenly powers to sustain the flow of energy in her realm. The only option for a goddess to have a baby without giving up her goddess form was to use an ancient technique known only by Gods. She concentrated her energy into a "lotus flower" and nourished it with her own life span until a baby girl was born. That was a common technique used by the gods to preserve a part of their spirit and knowledge intact after their vanishing.

Du Xing was just like any other normal born child, the only difference was that she was nourished inside a flower.

Eighteen years later....

"Mirror, mirror, who is the most beautiful girl in Holy Land?" (DX)

"The lotus flowers! The lotus flowers!" (magical mirror)

"Humph..

Broken pice of junk, you're so useless! Couldn't you have said a pretty lie?" (DX)

"The lies are sweet but hurt your heart sweetheart! But I wasn't lying just now, you're a lotus flower too!" (magical mirror)

" That's not true! (yelling)

I am a human being! This old piece of junk, who gave it to me? Oh...(recalling the past), it was the travelling prophet! If I recall well, today is his turn to give lessons in the lecture hall, I must hurry up!" (DX)

Ring...Rong...Rong...Ring..Rong...Rong...

(a device similar to a clock)

"Eh...it has already began!" (DX)

(she jumps into her shoes and tries to run when the mirror...)

"Take me with you, take me with you!" (magical mirror)

"Oh my God! You were perfect if you couldn't speak! Fine, I will take you with me!" (DX)

She finally exits her room and heads straight to the lecture hall.

(Lecture Hall \= a place with seats in tier, where great scholars, poets or alchemists can attend and offer lessons to the public.)

The lecture hall was packed with people.

Du Xing searches an empty seat but she can't spot it easily. A voice reaches her.
