Chapter 4.... Become My Queen

As Prince Alaric was led away in chains, his mind raced with strategies to save his people. He thought about reaching out to the elves of neighboring territories, with whom they had forged strong alliances during the war. But he knew that seeking their aid would take time, and time was a luxury he didn't have. The dragons had caught them off guard, and their sudden attack had left the elves reeling.

As he walked, he vowed to find a way to free his people and restore the elven kingdom to its former glory. He would not rest until the dragons were defeated, and the sacred tree was safe once more. The prince's determination burned brighter with every step, fueling his resolve to find a way to overcome this defeat and emerge victorious in the end.

As the prince and his family were led through the grand halls of Glaurung, the dragon kingdom, they couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer scale and majesty of the architecture. But their wonder was short-lived, as they were soon thrust into the dark, damp basement, their chains clanking against the cold stone floor.

Meanwhile, the dragon king, Calix Ender Waller was informed of the victorious return of his soldiers. His eyes lit up with excitement as he heard the news, and he hastened to the basement, his long strides devouring the distance with the hope to see his crush there.

Calix entered the basement where Calix's eyes locked onto Prince Alaric's, and a fierce intensity burned within them. Alaric, sensing the dragon's gaze, looked up, and their eyes met. For a moment, time stood still, as if the world around them had melted away.

"Ah, Prince Alaric," Calix whispered, his voice low and husky. "I've finally found you. The one who has haunted my dreams and fueled my desires."

Alaric's eyes narrowed, wary of his intentions. "What do you want?" he asked, his voice firm, despite the chains that bound him.

Calix's smile was like a slow-burning fire, spreading across his face. "Oh, I want many things, Prince. But first and foremost, I want you."

The prince's heart raced, unsure of what Calix's words meant, but certain that he did not want to find out. He tried to step back, but his chains held him firm, leaving him at the mercy of the dragon's desires.

But then he heard something shocking, "Become my queen".

Prince Alaric's eyes widened in shock as Calix's words hung in the air, his mind reeling with the weight of the dragon's proposal. Become his queen? It was unthinkable, yet the desperation in his heart made him consider the unthinkable.

"What do you mean?" Alaric asked, his voice barely above a whisper, as he tried to process Calix's words.

Calix's grip on Alaric's waist tightened, his fingers digging gently into the prince's skin. "I mean, become my mate, my queen. Rule by my side, and I will spare your people. I will protect them, and they will prosper under our rule."

Alaric's mind raced, torn between his loyalty to his people and his revulsion at the idea of surrendering to Calix's demands. He knew that his people were counting on him, and the thought of betraying them was unbearable. Yet, the prospect of saving them was equally compelling.

"I...I need time to think," Alaric stammered, trying to stall for time, hoping to find a way to escape or negotiate a better fate for his people.

Calix's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing. "You have until tomorrow, My Prince. Then, I will come for your answer. And if it is not what I desire, your people will suffer the consequences."
