*Alice:* I woke up to the sun's rays coming through my window and saw that Tania was not beside me. I grabbed my cell phone, which was on the nightstand, and saw that it was 12 noon. I guess I was too tired. I got up and went to the bathroom. I took a shower, brushed my teeth, and went out to the closet to find something to wear. I put on a black skirt set and went out to the living room, where I saw Tania serving food.
"I thought you'd never wake up! Come eat so we can go to the mall."
"It's not a big deal. And what are we going to do at the mall?" I asked her as I sat down at the table.
"You'll never guess. Remember Daniel, who bought a business?" she told me.
Daniel is a college classmate who comes from a wealthy family.
"Yes! I remember. What about it?"
"Well, he opened a nightclub. I think it used to be a well-known bar, but they closed it, so Daniel took advantage of the place's fame and decided to open a nightclub. The inauguration is today. He stopped by the boutique yesterday and gave me two VIP passes. What do you think? Do you want to go? Tell me, because I don't want to go alone."
"Hmm, okay, fine."
"We have to buy ourselves some dresses so we'll be the life of the party. And, of course, some masks," she said.
"Masks? What for?"
"Because that's the theme."
"Okay!"
After finishing our meal, we did the chores, and when we finished, we went to the mall. After a few minutes, we arrived. We went into several stores, until we passed by one that had a beautiful light blue dress.
"Alice, look at that dress. I think it would look great on you; it would bring out your eyes. Let's go try it on," said Tania.
I hadn't reacted very well by the time Tania pulled me inside the store, and a very pretty girl helped us.
"Hello, ladies. What can I help you with?"
"I'd like to try on this dress, please," I said, pointing to the dress.
"Very well, miss. I'll get it for you." The girl went to get the dress, and in a couple of seconds she came back with it. I went to the dressing room to try it on, and after a few minutes, I came out.
"Wow, Alice, that dress was made for you," Tania told me with a look of amazement.
"Hahaha, well, then this will be the one I'm wearing."
After taking off the dress, I chose some white heels, and we left the store. Time had flown by, and it was already 4:00 in the afternoon.
"Alice, let's go to the hairdresser's. I need to get something done with this hair."
"Okay, let's go so I can get something done, too."
We left the mall and went to a hair salon nearby. We arrived, and luckily they had chairs available. While they were combing Tania's hair, I still didn't know what to do with mine. I wanted to do something different, until I saw a girl who was having a red wig put on. The girl changed completely and it didn't look like she was wearing a wig, as it fit very well. So I decided to get a wig, but a blonde one. I told Tania to give me her opinion, and although Tania loves my black hair, she agreed. I told the girl what I wanted and to give me some waves. The girl got to work, and after a long time, she was finished.
I couldn't believe my eyes. I really did change a lot. I think I look really good as a blonde.
"Wow, girl...," Tania said with a look of astonishment.
"How do I look?"
"Girl, you look exactly like your mother, but younger. You look like her twin sister."
I looked in the mirror again to check what Tania was saying, and I did indeed look like my mother when she was younger. Seeing myself, I remembered my mother, and my eyes quickly filled with tears. I miss my mother so much.
"I think I'll stay blonde for a while."
We left the hairdresser's and went home. When we arrived, we each went up to our rooms, and after a couple of hours we both came out ready.
We looked beautiful. I'm not much for wearing makeup, so I just wore something natural. Tania was wearing a little more makeup, but not too much.
Before going to the nightclub, we went to dinner at a restaurant.
