After arriving at the airport, I remembered that this was the first place they could look for us, and if they knew where we were going, they'd find us faster.

I told her not to worry, that I knew someone who could help us with this.

I took out my phone and called my mom's lawyer. After talking to him and telling him everything, he was willing to help us. He had twin daughters. He didn't say he would lend us their passports, but he would put a picture of me in one and a picture of Tania in the other.

More than an hour passed, it was already 2 in the morning, and we decided to go to Russia. My mom bought an apartment there years ago. Obviously, my father doesn't know about the existence of that apartment since it's in my name. A while later, Miguel, my mom's lawyer, arrived.

“Hi, Alice.”

“Hi, Miguel, how are you?”

“Well, very worried, Alice. Where are you going and where are you going to stay?”

“Don't worry, Miguel. We're going to Russia. Remember the apartment my mother bought there?”

After hanging up the call, I got in the car and headed for the company. I'm so angry, I need to focus on something other than that rebellious brunette. I knew she had a temper because of how she defied and didn't give in to that boy.

But I didn't think it would go this far, anyway.
