Episode 7

If you don't want me to kill you right now, wipe that smirk off your face.

"Okay, okay, I get it, you're grumpy."

Each got into different cars since they were going to different places.

Alice:

After a long day at school, it was finally time to leave. I asked Tania if she wanted to have lunch at a restaurant and she agreed.

We arrived at the restaurant and ordered. While we waited for the food, I told Tania about this morning.

Tania: Seriously, you kissed an older man, Alice?

“Hey, no, he may be much older than me, but the truth is he's a Greek God."

Tania: I can't believe it, and he kisses well?

“He kisses more than well; no one has ever kissed me like that."

Our food arrived. We finished eating. Luckily, my father still lets me have my credit card, the one with a lot of money on it.

I don't know how he hasn't taken it from me. He knows I have a lot of money in that account, but he can't block it because he doesn't have access. My mother opened it so I could receive the money I won from some competitions, piano competitions (I won like three), ballet competitions (I won two).

And well, since I'm not one to spend a lot of money, I have a lot of money saved. In the last two years, I've tried to spend less so that when I turn 18, I'll have money to leave.

Now I have more than 5 million dollars. I was 12 years old when my mother opened the account.

After leaving the restaurant, we each went our separate ways. It was 4 in the afternoon.

I got home and saw everyone in the living room. I looked at them indifferently and went to go upstairs, but before I could reach the stairs, my father called me.

"Alice, come here."

I walked over to where my father was, stopping in front of him.

"What's wrong, Dad?"

"Sign this now."

"What's that, and why should I sign it?"

"It's a marriage agreement. You're going to marry my partner."

"What! Are you crazy, Dad? How do you think I'm going to marry someone I don't know?"

"Don't you dare disrespect me, young lady. You will sign this right now so you can leave with your husband tomorrow."

"He's not my husband, you understand? And I'm not going to sign it. If you have a problem with that, tell Lisa to sign it."

"If I met the requirements, I would have already signed," said Lisa angrily.

"Lisa can't. Mr. Lobo wants a virgin, so sign it right now."

"I already told you I'm not going to sign..." I didn't finish speaking when I felt a pain in my cheek.

"I told you to sign it right now. That’s an order."

"Since when do I follow your orders? I already told you that I will not sign, period."

"Fine, you don't want to sign it right away? Let me tell you this, you can say goodbye to this house and your beloved mother's company."

"What? Why?"

"I stole from Mr. Lobo to get the company out of bankruptcy. Mr. Lobo found out, and there are two options: either you sign the marriage contract and go with him, or you say goodbye to everything that was your mother’s, even her jewelry."

"How could you do that to my mother? You're shameless."

"Make up your mind, right now!"

I couldn't believe this. I couldn't lose what my mom worked so hard for. My mother dedicated her whole life to this house and the company that belonged to her family.

She took it to the top, and all my father did was maintain it for a while when she was alive. Now he’s driven it to bankruptcy.

Resigned and with tears in my eyes, I looked at my father with hatred. "Fine, I'll do it."

I grabbed the pen and signed. I’m married.

I'm married to a stranger, a man I don't love. I don't know if he's cute or ugly, if he's an old man... After signing, I went up to my room.

I can't go with that man, I can't. I already signed it; if I leave, I don't think he will do anything to my mother's company. I have to leave, I have to go far away, where no one can find me.
