CHAPTER 4: Sylus's View

LAST NIGHT: "Hey, are you falling asleep?" I ruffled Yuki's hair. He has a cute sleeping face…" Huh?" His fell on my shoulder. He's snoring….cute. "Nnnhh...Sylus…I like you…" He mumbled. He….likes me? ….I didn't know.... Maybe he's just having a dream.? That can't be the reason…? Right? ….I don't even know if I like him romantically I've never liked anyone. My eyelids started to feel heavy. I picked up Yuki and placed him on my bed. I hope he doesn't wake up... His stomach is showing. I want to touch i Do..Do I like him?

THE NEXT DAY:

"Sylus..? Are you awake?" I felt someone tap on my shoulder. "Mm?" *Yuki…? Came to wake me up*? "Hey….did I fall asleep last night?" He looked at me seriously. "Hm? Yeah." I smiled. "Did…I say anything weird?" *I wasn't fully awake yet… But now I am… Should I tell him? No...I have to give him an answer when I think about it. "No, of course not*." I smiled.

I sat up and walked towards the kitchen. "Hey, Yuki do you-"I was about as him a question…but we don't even live together. "Yeah?" He wanted me to finish. "No... Um, do you want tea?" I turned around and showed him the tea mix I made two days ago. "Hm? Yeah, I love tea!" He's excited…I hope he likes the new mix I made... What am I thinking.!? I don't even like him! "Here take this." I handed him a cup, "Can you put hot water in this? It'll boil faster." I turned on the faucet. "Do you like your tea leaves at the bottom? Because I can leave them there if you like…" He started at me. "Tea leaves?" Does he not know what those are? "I only drink instant tea...so I don't know what an Original mix tastes like." He looked sad. "Well then my will be the first mix you taste. I haven't figured out if I want to make a blend of Oolong and Earl Grey…Yuki?" He looked spaced out. "Yuukii." I waved my hand in front of him to see if he would notice. "Hm? Did you say something?" His face turned red when he saw my face in front of his. "So the tea leaves are the dark spots you see at the bottom of the tea you drink. Even in instant tea." I chuckled. He looked embarrassed. I handed him a cup of tea. "Thanks...are you really sure I didn't talk in my sleep?" His face is still red. No…you did, I just don't want to tell you at all....until I can think of the right answer. "I'm sure." I'm not sure. Hey are you free in two weeks?" I can give him a definite answer then. "Hm, Yeah.? Did you want to go somewhere?" He looked confused.

"Yeah, I did." *BBEEEP BLEEP* The phone on the wall started ringing. I walked over and grabbed it. Who is it..?

"Yes?" "Sir...we need you at the station. We have a new suspect. Come here, quickly." I might be the new suspect, because I might murder someone…

"I'm sorry, Yuki they need me at the station, they found a new suspect. You're welcome to stay if you want to. I'll be there only for a while." I waved him bye and walked out the door.

I'll definitely make it up to you on Saturday...I promise.

AT THE STATION:

I walked to the place where the suspect stays. "Talk.Now." I felt my face change in emotion. "Why.?" Does she really have the nerve to talk like that right now? "Why do you think? If you don't want to be spending the rest of your life for murdering a six year old child, I would talk if I were you." I looked down, and back up at her. "Fine. All I know is they saw me on the street and said I looked like the artist sketch of the suspect. Since there was a witness and everything." She shrugged. She's not taking this seriously. She's not telling the truth. "Look lady, we both have things to do right? SO TALK." My only other tactic was to yell… Not only that, but she's wasting my time, I want to be back with Yuki. "Fine. So like….I knew the little girl's father…and we had an argument, I was her step-mother. He said he would take the child I loved a lot away from me... But why would I murder her? I loved her with all my heart. Please, Detective find the real suspect." She broke easily…but I know she's telling the truth..that's good.

"Why wouldn't I?" I smiled at her ang got up from the chair in front of the glass pane. The rest is up to the other detectives for now.

I have to get back to Yuki...
