"WHAT? You got fired on your first day? Why?" Her boyfriend couldn't believe what she was telling him.

"It turns out, my boss is a weird person. A p*dophile who is l*sting over a little girl. He's 31 but he is stalking a 16-year-old girl! Can you believe that?!" She exclaimed in disbelief.

"Who's your boss anyway? It's probably for the best that you got fired, especially if your boss is a p*rvert like that. He must be really ugly to be st*lking a min*r," Steve reacted with a hint of disdain.

She remained silent. If only he knew that her boss was more handsome and famous than an actor, he wouldn't say that. Besides, he's also a millionaire.

If she didn't have a boyfriend, she might have developed feelings for him.

Well, she was actually one of his admirers before. They were schoolmates, and she had such a huge crush on him that she aspired to work in his company. But she knew someone like her wouldn't stand a chance to catch his attention, so she gave up on that dream. Who would have thought that the guy she used to fantasize about would end up obsessing over a child? A p*dophile. It really turned her off.

"Anyway, it's my dad's birthday. You should come over later, okay? I'll introduce you to them," Steve invited her.

They've been together for two years, but she hadn't met his parents yet, and she had never been to their house.

Well, it's because she's still in denial about her feelings for him. Steve's family is not well-off, and he only managed to finish his studies through a scholarship. Unlike her, who comes from a wealthy family. She didn't think their relationship would last, so she hesitated to meet his family because she was worried that his parents wouldn't approve of her and they might break up. But now, she's sure about him, so she's ready to meet his parents and his two sisters.

Steve picked her up from the mall where she was left by her boss, and they took a jeepney to his house. As expected, Steve's family is not wealthy, but their house is decent, and it's spacious enough. Steve said they haven't finished paying for it yet because they got it through a housing loan, but at least they're not renting anymore.

It's already late that's why they were having the birthday celebration at night because everyone in his family is busy with work. Even his youngest sister, who is only 16 years old, has a part-time job while studying.

"Kaitlyn! Open the door. Ate Sheryl is here with me!" Steve knocked on the door.

The name his boyfriend mentioned sounded familiar to her, and she wasn't mistaken when the door opened, revealing none other than the girl who caused her to lose her job earlier! The object of desire of her weird boss!

"You must be Ate Sheryl! You know, Kuya always talks about you!" Katlyn greeted her with a smile, extending her hand.

Her innocent smile really made her even prettier. She was like a flower that hasn't been picked yet. She's simple, but the more you look at her, she's becoming even more beautiful and delicate in her movements. She really looks young and fresh.

Is this the type of girl her boss is l*sting over with? He's really a p*dophile.

"Ate Sheryl?" she asked, looking puzzled as she stared at her.

"Oh, sorry, I was just lost in thought. So, you're Steve's sister. You probably have a boyfriend, right? You're pretty," she said jokingly. She was just testing if this girl was involved with her ex-boss, that's explains his obsession with her.

"Boyfriend? Oh no, Ate, it's not even crossing my mind! No one is even courting me! I'm still too young!" she said shyly.

"Yeah, why would she rush into having a boyfriend? Guys her age are still immature. They might even ask for money from their parents just to take her out," Steve chimed in.

Based on what Steve said, it seems like she doesn't know that a billionaire is swooning over her.

"Do you happen to know Mr. King Estefano, Kaitlyn?" she asked.

It seemed like the random question caught her off guard.

"Is he the wealthy billionaire whose name is often associated with female celebrities? The handsome one? I know him because he's the owner of the school I'm attending, and I'm a scholar there because my dad works for him. Why are you asking about him?" she replied.

"Yeah, why did you ask all of a sudden? Dad works as a janitor in his company, by the way. What's so special about that guy?" Steve's voice was tinged with jealousy.

"Oh, nothing. Is it wrong to ask? But Kaitlyn, do you happen to know him personally? Have you ever spoken to him?" she still curiously asked.

She shook her head. "Not yet. People like him don't seem easy to talk to. Even my dad, who works as a janitor in his company, hasn't had a personal conversation with him. I only see him when he visits our school because he's the owner, but we've never spoken," she explained.

Weird, if what Kaitlyn said was true, it seems like she's not even aware that King Estefano knows her. How did he become obsessed with her?

"Do you have a crush on that King Estefano guy? Are you planning to apply to his company, that's why you're asking?" Steve asked with a frown.

She pinched him on the cheek. "My boyfriend is getting jealous already! But seriously, you might k*ll me if I pursue that! Let's eat inside, I'm hungry!" she said.

They went inside, and while eating, she wondered whether she should tell Steve or Kaitlyn about King's obsession. King Estefano is a really dangerous person, and she's afraid that Steve might get involved in his obsession with his sister. But she's also scared of the consequences if King finds out that she told Kaitlyn about his secret.

If King really desires Kaitlyn, why hasn't he approached her yet? She's not even aware of his interest. Why is he just st*lking her?

She sighed. It's weird for her that her boss is obsessed with a m*nor. She shouldn't be surprised if he has strange hobbies. She couldn't help but feel sorry for what Kaitlyn might go through in the hands of a man like King. She's so innocent, while he looks like a lion who can devour his prey anytime. And that prey is Kaitlyn...
