Chapter one: Life changing decision

...Lin Xiaxia is seen walking out of a cake shop where she bought a not too big and cute cake because today is her boyfriend Qi Siming's birthday. She had planned to give him this surprise before he returns from his company. When she got to his house she saw that the lights were on, "why didn't he call me when he got home?". She didn't put heart to this at all and thought it's also good he's home already not knowing the scene she's going to witness tonight will be the end of their relationship....

...On entering the house she saw a pair of women and men's shoe, strewn clothes & underwear, she does not want to believe what she saw, she closed her eyes and decided to walk further inside towards the bedroom. What she didn't expect to see her is sister and her boyfriend having a passionate moment, Lin Xing'er her sister and her boyfriend were making out without a care of their surroundings, she staggered backwards her back hitting the wall. She was weakened by the scene she's seeing but she didn't make a sound. Taking out her phone she took pictures and videos of them and left the house silently....

Not even with an outsider but with her sister whom she'd never had a good relationship with. She threw the cake inside the trashcan on the street and a little boy who seemed homeless ran over to take the cake and left there happily, looking at the boy she thought of her life not being different to that of the boy. Hot tears rained down her eyes and she sat down on the floor crying out her eyes. The passersby were all staring at her thinking why would a lady be out in the night crying on the road. The homeless boy who took the cake she trashed earlier came to her thinking she's crying because of the cake, he sympathized with her and told her he's sorry, she stopped crying and told him she's not crying because of the cake. “Why would I cry over what's over a cake?” she thought to herself. She looked at the little boy and asked “why are you on the street begging? Where are your parents?”, the boy replied “My parents are dead and my evil uncle and auntie won't take me in, so I had to come to the street to beg for food”. Lin Xiaxia then thought of herself and said "you'll be my family from now on... don't worry I'll take care of you and also fight back all those who made you and I miserable”....

...She left the place with the boy without looking back. When she got to her rented apartment she bathed the boy and gave him food. After he was done eating he thanked her, she found out the boy's name was Lu Chen, and he lost his parents not too long but was not taken care of by his parents' family. The little boy's situation was just like hers right now, forgotten and hated by her family. The Lin family not only considered her illegitimate but also a jinx who causes problems for the entire family....

She promised in her heart to make herself a big name and get back at all those people who betrayed her and made her a laughing stock. The case of her boyfriend's betrayal will be settled the next day she thought to herself before sleeping off with the Lu Chen who slept soundly on the bed. She smiled looking at the cute little boy and decided that she'd adopt him since she now considered him her only family member.
