Wendy
It had been two days since I had seen Kelly. I'm quite sure that I unlocked the door. I opened the door, slowly. "Mr. Kelly?"
He didn't turn on the lights, the windows were damaged from the previous incident. The glass pieces were scattered everywhere. I squatted down, picked them up carefully. There were no signs of Kelly. Did he go back to the headquarters? I should have apologized to him, I rose from the floor, sat on the bed. It was cold, he must have left. I heard a received a notification from Joe Marshall, the one who was in charge my department. He sent a file which contained the details of our next mission. "Discuss it with Kelly", he sent. Kelly? Didn't he in the headquarters??
Thud! I heard a sound from the bathroom. The door was slightly opened. How did I have not noticed it in the first place? I was so careless. I touched the door, pushed it gradually. In the front side, I saw legs of a man. It was Kelly! His lips were covered in blood. I rushed to him. "Mr. Kelly?!", I shook him. His temperature was low, I kept my ear near his chest. His heartbeat! It was getting low. I took my phone, dialed Natalie.
In the phone, "Natalie!", I was in the edge of crying. "What happened?", she sounded so worried. "I can't believe that he is going to die!", my voice was quavering. "Who?!"
"K-Kelly! I need medic!"
"What! I'll send Mark right away!", She hung up the call.
After that, I lifted Kelly from the floor, placed him on the bed. I removed his shirt, dried him by the towel and turned on the heater. He was sweating continuously. I was panicked and called Mark more than 5 times.
"Medic is here!", Mark came through the door, with a tall man. He called him Siren. "Who's he?"
"Siren, Kelly's doc!", without wasting any time, he checked him. "How's he?", I asked.
"He's fine", he handed me a pile of pills and asked me to give him one when he's awake. "Does he need this much?" He stared into my eyes, scarily. Then, he nodded and when he was about to walk away, I grabbed his coat. "W-what happened to him?", I looked at Kelly, feeling guilty. "He will tell you when he's awake" he looked at Mark and walked away. "Okay, I'll drive him. Take care of Kelly! And keep Kelly away from cold", he was serious and left.
I looked at the windows, it was broken. I've got only two rooms in this house. One was a guest room, which was supposed to be used by Kelly and another was mine in which the windows got broke. So, I took Kelly to the guest room. I tried every method to keep him warm. But he didn't open his eyes, he looked like he was hibernating. I cleaned him by wet wipes every morning and evening.
A week passed. He was still in his deep sleep. One night, when I was changing the sheets of the pillow, he started to babble "Mom...mom", he murmured. Mom? I thought he had no family? He started to sweat all over again. "Kelly", I whispered his name. I felt so guilty that tears rolled down by my cheeks. I thought about the bad things that I did to him. He would be fine if I had not left him outside. Most importantly, I'm afraid that I'll kill another life like I killed Elle.
