The Betrothal.

Austin had just finished texting his secretly admired crush. It was in the late evening.

“She actually so sweet and knows just what to say why haven’t I gotten the courage to tell her.Agh!….She’d probably take me for joke!.”

”Hmmm I can tell her tomorrow…YES!!…I would tell her tomorrow! Let me practice what I would say ..

El-Lynna , the first time I meet you , I thought we might even never make acquaintances but you have proved to be my only—No! no! I doesn’t sound right ….emmm…..El-Lynna, I-I thought of you as I stern individual but I was wrong on the first day you spoke —Aghhh!!….. Why aren’t I getting the right words to say!.”

He switched on the Tv to wash all the thoughts of how a total failure he was and coward-like he could be. But he used to be quite a flirty guy what happened to him. Was this his end? Was this how he would spent his last night as a bachelor…..betrothed to the unknown in less than 24 hours .

The program host suddenly spoke about gathering confidence and speaking from within to the person who love .

“ It just might hit the spot ..”the host concluded.

The host had either mentioned to take a deep breath , concentrate on the person you might be thinking of telling something to….and let it flow without ceasing…

Austin let out one big sigh…whiles his voice record was on.

” Look ,El-Lynna I being wanting to tell this the day we laughed together…I might not be able to say this ever again . I ,Austin, have met numerous woman ….there’s none more noble, beautiful, sweet, kind and captivating as you are , and that ..SIGH..I love you” He ended the record with a determined heart “ I wouldn’t marry my betrothed “ He smirked.

\* It was morning \*

El-Lynna woke up with more than a dime on her face ….exuberance.

” Baby, why are you excited today?” Chiimu called out

” Ohio is getting betrothed today ,Mum!.”

” Baby ,do u know who has getting betrothed too?” Chiimu had to yell for El-Lynna to h at from upstairs due the mower’s noise.

“Nah!….Do you know?” El-Lynna replied

There was no response .

Chiimu can’t possible know ,El-Lynna thought .

Baby cannot it’s her, El-Lynna’s Mum thought whilst breaking into a cold sweat.

Chiimu turned around to put the plate she just cleaned down …..El-Lynna was there…

“AGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!” Chiimu let out a glass cracking scream whiles leaving the plate to fall . El-Lynna caught it in time . El-Lynna still shaking by her mum scream …cleared her throat

“ Erh-erm Mum?…..Who is it?!”

” I am not the one to tell you ,El-Lynna”

Chiimu only used her real name when matters got serious. She sensed something wasn’t right.

“ Is it someone I know ?!” El-Lynna inquired.

” Yes!”

” Is it Marcia?.”

Chiimu shook her head.

“ Kendra? -[shake] , Stephanie-[shake] , Stacy-[shake].”

After a thousand or so names El-Lynna was exhausted. It’s you, El-Lynna… mum wanted to scream it in her face with joy…. but, she was restricted to do so…

”Mum I’m going to work for now .. by all means we would find out this evening, wouldn’t we?” El-Lynna smiled.

” Yes we would “

El-Lynna returned to her room, plundering over the situation.

She soon let it go because , why need to rushed when you have a VIP invitation from the Ohios. How nice it could be to know an Ohio.

The night before, right after texting with Austin, she had left for her agency informing Chiimu she was going to sleep.

She successfully submitted the files to Pete.

” You know you are outstanding ,right?” Pete praised her “It’s a shame you would be betrothed —.”

” You know?”

” What do you think of me ….every hook and cranny I hear it …every whisper I hear it.. every where I hea—“

“Wow then you must have heard who I’m getting betrothed to , right?” Black Shadow whispered with mocking eyes.

” I’m not the one to say it!” Pete had left these words in her head ,her thoughts, her soul ….So he knows my betrothed!
