The night sky was beautifully lit by the moon and the millions of stars, sometimes shooting stars would appear very fast and disappear soon again. Right at this moment Miae's heart was beating very fast like that of a shooting star.

"You're Han Miae right?", the voice called out once more. Miae knew that it was indeed Yeonjun, so very well. She couldn't understand why her heart was beating faster, she thought that maybe his voice scared her.

"What are you doing out her so late?", Miae asked trying to sound as casual as possible, trying to forget how she walked out of his house earlier. Yes, after thinking back a good amount of time, she cringed at her earlier self.

"I could ask you the same thing", Yeonjun replied, his hands in the pocket of his gray jogger pants. He looked at Miae with a blank face as he walked towards her. "You shouldn't be out walking around alone late, hello kitty", He said looking at her socks, bending slightly down to face her. Miae could've sworn that she saw a smirk on Yeonjun's face which made her mad again for some reason. She felt like punching away his smirk.

Yeonjun stand back up and walked past her but stopped after a few steps and turned back to look at her "you coming or what?" he said, his voice sounding a bit hoarse.

"No? Why should I? It's not like you can fight to safe your life anyway so i doubt you'll be much of a knight, isn't that right Prince Charming?" Miae replied, a reply which will probably make her cringe again later.

Yeonjun scoffed taking out his hand from his pocket, touching the bridge of his nose with the side of his point finger. "You're so childish", he told her and then looked around their surroundings a bit and found a swing in a near distance, "You should show me around you know? I thought friends do that", he continued.

His words made the girl confused, "Since when were we friends again?" she thought but didn't speak her mind. She glanced at his face and saw a smug smile plastered on his face. "Sure I'll show you around", she breathe out, her voice sounding forced.

The tall boy pointed towards where the swings were, "Over there", he said in a suggestive tone.

"You've been there before", Miae replied nonchalantly. From the look on her face, she seems to want Yeonjun to leave as soon as possible. But seeing how he was still standing there in front of her she was starting to get the idea that he won't leave until there go near the swings. "Fine" she sighed leading the way with Yeonjun smirking following her behind.

"How's your butt?" Miae asked Yeonjun as she scratch her arm lightly, possibly from a mosquito bite. They were on their way to go back to their respective home.

"Forget what you saw earlier", a slightly flustered Yeonjun ordered, his tone low. He had fallen down from a swing trying to show how good he was at swinging. Despite trying not to show his embarrassment, he couldn't help but press his lips together inwards, if possible he wished to be swallowed a whole underground at this moment.

As they reach the apartment complex, Miae looked at Yeonjun once more before she opened the door of her house "I think I have an ointment or some kind of pain relief balm if you want any?" she suggests, while Yeonjun's world was crumbling down of embarrassment, Miae on the other hand was not thinking much about it at all.

Yeonjun looked at his hand which was on the door knob of his house "shut up" his voice coming out way colder than he had anticipated, he knew Miae was being kind but right at this moment he just wants to lie on his bed, or punch air. As soon as he told her to shut up, he went inside and closed the door harshly.

Miae was dumbfounded, she thought that they were getting closer again but how Yeonjun acted made her think otherwise. It made her confuse and offended. She, too, opened the door and went in, though she wanted to shut the door louder than Yeonjun, she was afraid she won’t be able to see the light of day the next day if she does that, as her mother's slippers would instantly fly towards her sending her to Mars. So she closed the door like a normal person and went to her room.

Well, 18, the age you'd rather die than be embarrassed.

29th July 20XX

Today, I bought some new shoes! They're black loafers^^ also with some white socks. Mom also made mushroom stew and it tasted heavenly, ahh thinking about it makes me hungry again.

Also, i couldn't fall asleep so i went out for a walk, and i saw fricking Yeonjun sitting on my spot, he even asked me to show him around as 'friends do that'. He also tried to show me how good he was at swinging that he told me to take a picture of him swinging but a cricket jumped and landed on his hand making him fall down. sucks to be him :p

Andddd, I asked him if he wanted to put on some pain reliever but he told me to shut up!! The audacity. I seriously can't understand this guy, he's so annoying!!!
