Chapter 1.

The start of summer break felt like pure joy to Miae, almost as if the birds chirping were more like sounds of beautiful songs, the sun always shinning brightly, enlightening her room, and the cool breeze was blowing her mom's flower's aroma inside her room which smells wonderful. She left like she was starring in a Jannabi music video, they are her favorite band after all. She could hear distant chattering outside which piqued her interest, she slid her feet in her flops and ran down the stair of her house to the kitchen where she looked out the window and saw her parents with two other people. However, she didn't put on her glasses, so she couldn't see the other two stranger's faces clearly and but she was too shy to walk outside.

As she was already in the kitchen Miae opened the fridge, not that she was hungry, but she just felt like having a light snack, but was disappointed to find nothing that she like. She closed the fridge and drank a cup of water for the sake of having something and walked back up to her room.

She noticed her phone ringing on her bed, it was one of her friend from school, Choi Beomgyu. She swiped up her phone and answered the call, "What's up--"

"Kang Taehyun broke his arm!!" Beomgyu shrieked, his voice was loud as always.

"What?? What happened? When? Is he okay now?", Miae was surprised to find her other good friend breaking his arm.

"Yesterday he went out to skate by himself, that idiot I told him to wait for me but his impatient ass went ahead! Anyway, I am going to his house today with Soobin and Huening, do you want to join?" Beomgyu explained and asked, from the sound of his voice he seemed to be quite worried of Taehyun.

"Of course, I'll join, at what time?"

"Around 12, I'll come get you. Oh, by the way I heard he's back." Beomgyu said changing topics which Miae had no idea what he was talking about. "Back? Who's back?", she asked as she looked outside from her window as the chattering from outside was getting louder.

"Who eIse would i be saying idiot, Choi Yeonjun." as soon as Beomgyu said Yeonjun's name Miae's eyes widened as she too had just seen him from her window. Yes she wasn't wearing her glasses but for some reason she can tell that the guy standing in the distance next to her parents is the Choi Yeonjun.

"Gyu I'm hanging up", Miae said pressing the red button on her phone without batting an eye, her eyes though were unable to leave the tall figure standing politely next to her mom's pots of flowers. He was so much taller now, taller than her father and his face looked...blurry? Miae hurriedly grabbed her glasses which was on her study table, abruptly put it on and went back to her window.

Choi Yeonjun, he had grown up to be such a handsome young man. He is definitely on the lean side, his frame and figure have changed so much but his eyes were the same to Miae. As she was intently looking at Yeonjun, Miae's mom noticed her from below, "Miae, come down here!", her mom shouted making Miae flinched a bit.

"O-okay" she shouts back before glancing at Yeonjun once more, however the lad was already looking at her and their eyes met causing Miae to fall back on the ground. She was surprised to see him already looking at her, her butt hurts from the fall but her hands were on her chest, feeling her heartbeat.

"that scared me..."

My mom's flowers are the prettiest!! Currently playing Summer by Jannabi as I am writing this :3 Can't wait to enjoy this year's summer break to the fullest!!!
