Chapter 1 It all begins when

It all begins when Rana was merely fourteen, a tender age when the world should have been a place of warmth and security. However, for Rana, it marked the start of a lonely journey.

At the dawn of her teenage years, Rana found herself abandoned by the very pillars of her life—her parents. Their departure was not just physical; it was a fracturing of the emotional ties that should have bound a family together. Left to fend for herself in a world that suddenly seemed cold and big for a fourteen years old.

Rana, with her youthful innocence shattered, struggled to make sense of their abandonment, to understand why the ones who were supposed to love her unconditionally had turned their backs on her.

As days stretched into weeks and weeks into months, Rana's solitude deepened, a cavernous emptiness that threatened to consume her fragile spirit. The city outside the window buzzed with life and activity, a stark contrast to the stillness that enveloped her heart. In the silence of her solitude, she grappled with feelings of abandonment and betrayal, emotions too heavy for a young soul to bear alone.

When Rana's life took a 180-degree turn, becoming an orphan fostered in an orphanage full of children like her, she struggled immensely. Constantly bullied by her classmates for not having parents, harassed by a teacher, and physically abused in the orphanage, there was no safe place for her. Despite her deep desire for a better life, every last strand of hope was shattered.

"Is this heaven?" Rana asked herself as she opened her eyes, immediately mesmerized by the luxury and elegance surrounding her. She found herself inside a room adorned with opulent furnishings, lying in a grand four-poster bed with cascading curtains of silk, intricately embroidered tapestries hanging on the walls, and a delicate crystal chandelier casting a soft, ethereal glow. The room was filled with the scent of fresh flowers placed in ornate vases, and the windows were draped with delicate lace curtains that allowed dappled sunlight to filter through, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Captivated by the beauty and grandeur of the room, Rana felt as though she had stepped into a fairy tale. "This must be heaven," she muttered, unaware that she had become a noble lady in a novel.

"I thought that after jumping off a building, I would go straight to hell. Why am I here?" She asked herself. She had many thoughts, but she felt too tired to think. As she's about to doze off. The soft knock on the grandeur door jolted Rana back to the present. The gentle voice that followed carried a sense of deference she had never experienced before. "My Lady," it addressed her, an unfamiliar title that sounded both foreign and intriguing on her ears. As she gathered her thoughts Ah!

"I must be dreaming," Rana whispered to herself, her voice barely above a breath. She reached out tentatively, as if expecting the gossamer curtains or the delicate tapestries to fade away at her touch. But they remained, tangible reminders of a life she had never imagined for herself.

As she was about to close her eyes, she heard a couple of knocks followed by a deep sigh. The creaking sounds of the doorknob and the slow opening of the door startled Rana when she saw a person in a servant's uniform.

"Are you God?" she subconsciously asked, bewildered.

Confused by Rana's question, the servant replied, "Are you still asleep, my lady?"
