Crushes and Confusion

NOTE

I'm very bad at writing and I'm very sensitive ..another words I get hurt very easily ..so don't come at me if it's really that bad of a story...I showed my best friend this story...and let's just say it didn't end well.for me ....I cried cuz she was kind of mean to me about it ..like brutally honest ...I didn't want her to lie but at the same time...i wish she could have been a little more gentle to me while telling me the truth ..that's how much sensitive I'm....

And the plot ..came to me when I was reading a story ..I thought why always the FL has to suffer and the ML gets easy forgiven as he also likes the FL but didn't know how to talk to her ...and that's how this plot came in my mind ...I never really rrad ir watched anything with this type of plot that I wrote ..so idk if it's that common..if it is then please do share me that link as I also want to read that type of story...

And as I said I'm bad at writing ..

I write this story with the help of my other friend ... so the plot is mine but the writing is not ...and I also wanted to write this beacuse ..I wanted to remember this plot so that I could write a real story of this plot when I get good at writing

if u want to say anything ..please do ..just be more gentle as km very sensitive abut others criticizing me ..or more like getting angry with me ..I really can't handle that...

Lila had always admired Caleb from afar. With his confident smile and effortless charm, he was the epitome of the high school heartthrob. She had nursed a quiet crush on him for months, dreaming of the day he might notice her.One day, he did notice her, but not in the way she had hoped.

Lila walked down the hallway, balancing a stack of books in her arms. She saw Caleb leaning against his locker, laughing with his friends. Her heart fluttered as she imagined what it would be like if he smiled at her that way.

As she approached, Caleb’s eyes locked onto her. For a brief moment, her heart soared.

“Hey, loser, move out of the way,” Caleb barked, shoving her books out of her hands.

The hallway echoed with laughter from his friends. Lila’s heart sank. She scrambled to pick up her books, her cheeks burning with humiliation.

“Wow, Caleb, that was harsh,” one of his friends snickered.

“Yeah, man, did you have to go that far?” another chimed in, but Caleb just shrugged.

“It’s just a joke,” Caleb said, smirking. “She’ll get over it.”

Lila’s fingers trembled as she picked up the last book. She stood up, fighting back tears. “Why do you have to be so mean?”

Caleb rolled his eyes. “Lighten up, Lila. It’s not like I hurt you or anything.”

“Yeah, right,” Lila muttered under her breath as she walked away, her heart heavy with disappointment.

That night, Lila sat on her bed, hugging her knees to her chest. Her best friend, Mia, called her.

“How was your day, Lila?” Mia’s cheerful voice came through the phone.

“Awful,” Lila sighed. “Caleb was horrible to me.”

“What did he do now?” Mia asked, concern filling her voice.

“He shoved my books out of my hands and called me a loser,” Lila said, her voice shaking. “I don’t understand why he’s so mean.”

“Lila, you deserve so much better than him,” Mia said firmly. “He’s not worth your time or tears.”

“I know,” Lila whispered, wiping away a tear. “It’s just... I thought he was different.”

“People aren’t always what they seem,” Mia said gently. “You’ll find someone who appreciates you for who you are. Don’t let Caleb’s behavior bring you down.”

“Thanks, Mia,” Lila said, feeling a bit better. “You’re right. I need to focus on the people who actually care about me.”

“Exactly,” Mia replied. “And I’m here for you, always.”

The next day at school, Lila walked through the halls with her head held high. She wouldn’t let Caleb’s cruelty define her. She saw him again, surrounded by his friends, and felt a pang of sadness. But she also felt a growing resolve.

Caleb glanced her way, but she ignored him, walking past with a determined stride. She would not be brought down by his thoughtless actions. She deserved better, and she was going to find it.
