Episode Five

(A few minutes later, Liam came out of the bathroom with a towel; he noticed Xi sleeping and approached him.)

Lee Liam: You are doing well, girl. (he smiles) What am I smiling at? (He moves his hair back to her ear) Wait, what am I doing? (murmur)

(He gets out of bed and goes to get some food; twenty minutes later, he returns to find Xi having nightmares, crying, and unable to breathe properly.)

Yang Xi: Dad....mom....please help....me no no no (cries).

Lee Liam: What is wrong with her? (He moves closer to her) Having nightmares.

Yang Xi: Mom....please....she will....kill me.. (having difficulty breathing and sweating heavily).

Lee Liam: Xi wake up Xi, Xi, Yang Xi!! (He wakes her up.)

Yang Xi: No, no, no (she woke up and noticed Liam by her side). She gave him a fierce, sobbing hug.

Lee Liam: What is wrong with you!?

Yang Xi: Please do not leave me with her... You can do whatever you want with me, but please do not leave me with her; she will kill me (crying and looking around the room in horror).

Lee Liam: With whom? Get a grip of yourself and leave me the hell alone. He pushed her away from hugging her.

Yang Xi: Please....(crying)

Lee Liam: Clean your face and come down to eat (holding her chin tightly)

(A moment later, she came down and sat on the dining table beside Lee Liam.)

Lee Liam: You must do as I say in this house or your family will fall apart. You will be leaving with me and my brother from now on. Are we clear? (looking at her, waiting to hear her response)

Yang xi: Why should I obey you when I'm not your slave or pet...

Ahhhh (he grabs her hair furiously).

Lee Liam: How dare you argue with me, uhh? You are in no place for that. (Looking at her with disdain).

Yang Xi: I did nothing wrong to you. You kidnap me...here and raped me now you want....me to obey all your demands. You will regret this....ahhh (growls in pain).

Lee Liam: Are you threatening me? How dare you, Hmmm? (becoming more enraged)

Yang Xi: Ah, you are hurting me, you bastard!! (Crying in pain.)

Lee Liam: Thuthuthu, you are not in pain yet. This is just a welcome. (He pulled her hair harder and kissed her roughly, but she bit him, causing him to bleed on his lips. He continued to kiss her, refusing to let her go. Until he noticed she was having difficulty breathing.

Yang Xi: Why.....are you.....doing this? (coughing) You are the guy I met at my club. I....remember your face now, apart from when I saw you at the accident scene (pointing to his face).

Lee Liam: Oh, babe (adjusting himself in the chair). You now recall my face. (Smirk)

Yang xi: I asked the officer to explain to you that day.

Lee Liam: You mean the officer you bribed with a promotion!?

Yang Xi: No, I did not bribe anyone. (Confused)

Lee Liam: Oh oh! Explain why the officer was promoted two weeks after the incident. (Eat a spoonful of pasta.)

Lee Liam: (facing her) Say one more word, and I will press your head into the hot pasta in front of you, and I will make sure you finish the food before leaving this table. (in a threatening tone).

Yang Xi: (she shuts her mouth, knowing he can do it) I'm sorry.

Lee Liam: Eat your food.

Yang Xi: Liam, (looking at him before speaking).

Lee Liam: What? Speak up, and what are you looking at? (He likes how she called his name.)

Yang Xi: I need to go to the hospital tomorrow.

Lee Liam: What for?

Yang Xi: To get some drugs for myself.

Lee Liam: I have gotten you the necessary drugs.

Yang Xi: No, I need a control pill!

Lee Liam: Control Pill!?

Yang xi: to prevent me from getting pregnant.

Lee Liam: You are going nowhere (stands up angrily).

Yang Xi: But I need it.

Lee Liam: You need nothing! (Looks at her, then storms out of there in furious.)

Yang Xi: What did I do wrong again? (In a confused expression)

The next morning

(Lee Liam awoke hoping to see Yang Xi beside him, but was disappointed when he realized she was not in bed with him. He sits up and looks around the room, not seeing her.

Lee Liam: Where is she? Yang xi! (He called out for her but received no response, so he stood up from the bed and opened the bathroom door; she is not there. He heard the sound of the door knob opening and turned to look back, seeing Yang Xi return to the room.

Yang xi: hi....(shocked to see him)

Lee Liam: Where are you coming from? (Walking close to her)

Yang Xi: I was coming from the living room. I slept there last night.

Lee Liam: And why do you not return to the room to sleep?

Yang xi: I believe you do not want me to sleep in the room with you.

Lee Liam: (Pulling her closer) You must sleep wherever I sleep and stay wherever I am, okay? (holding her chin for a kiss).

Yang Xi: Okay. (She moved her lips away from him)

Lee Liam: How dare you move your lips away from me? (He forced a kiss on her, leaving her breathless) Go freshen up, we are going to the hospital.

Yang Xi: For real?

Lee Liam: Yes, to check on my brother, whom you nearly killed. (In a furious tone)

Yang xi: I told you I did not know anything about your brother.

Lee Liam: (strangling her neck) If you say one more word, I will make you feel pain all over your body. (He smirked and looked at her from head to toe before leaving her.)

Yang Xi: I am sorry.....(coughing and trying not to cry in front of him)

Lee Liam: Get yourself into that bathroom and freshen up. I will be in my brother's room to freshen up. we are leaving in an hour. (He went to his wardrobe, picked out his clothes, and left the room.)

Yang Xi: Why will not he believe me (crying)? Dad, I need you...(she went into the bathroom crying while bathing).

(An hour later, she walked out of the room and noticed Liam on the couch, busy with his phone; she approached him.)

Yang Xi: Liam, I am done (looking at him)

Lee Liam: Okay, let go. He stands up from the couch and turns to face her. (He noticed his clothes on her.)

Yang Xi: I do not have any clothes to wear, so I wear yours.

Lee Liam: Let go, we will go shopping later today to get you some clothes to wear.

Yang Xi: Okay.

(They both left the house and took Liam's car.)

Lee Liam: Have your phone back (he throws the phone on her lap)

Yang Xi: Thanks. (She flashes a small smile and appears both startled and terrified when messages appear on her phone. He looked at Liam, who was also looking at her.

Lee Liam: Keep that thing down!

Yang xi: I am sorry (she apologizes to him and keeps the volume of her phone down).

They arrived at the hospital a few minutes later.

Lee Liam: Get down here. I need to pack in a parking spot.

Yang Xi: Okay. (She steps out of the car and stands at the hospital's entrance.)

(Shen yi and lichen, coming out of their car, saw Yang Xi at the hospital entrance.)

Lichen, where have you been? We tried calling you but you were not available before we called your father.

Shen Yi: Yes, babe, where do you keep your phone? We have been trying to reach you since you left yesterday. Wait! Are you OK now? Why are you at the hospital? Did your parents know you were here? (Touching her forehead)

Yang Xi: Which question would you like me to answer first?

Shen Yi: All my questions I have been worried sick about you being unable to eat or sleep.

Lichen: Is that so? Who did I see eating last night?

Shen yi: Why can not I eat with all the trouble your aunt has gotten me into? (facing lichen)

Yang Xi: You mean your mom? (Pointing at Yi)

Shen yi: Yes, Dad told her about my shares in her company, so she pretended to be sick and lounged around in this hospital like a resort, enjoying herself while making me miserable.
