Just You and Me

Everyone was still waiting at the entrance. It's been 2 hours already. Where can Xia be? Everyone was getting bored. "Man, this sucks! It has been 2 hours already, and Xia didn't show up. He tries to take the drink off Xia's hands. "Nno!" She whined. Xia death stares at Zhuo Zhi and then Jingwei. She sits up straight and pours drinks into Jingwei's cup and pours hers after. She grabbed her drink and said, "Ji Jingwei--" Jingwei looked at Xia. "This drink I pour is to you... I just want you to know... You are... The meanest and the rudest... The stubborn person I ever met! My friend was right about you - you don't care about anyone but yourself. You are a dangerous person alive. After Zhuo Zhi defended you and told me that it was just rumors that had been spreading around school, I considered you're not a bad guy-- but he was wrong. You are a jerk! I am sad that my cousin has been friends with you for so long... I started to like you too, but you..." She started to cried and then she blacks out. "What are you talking about?" Zhuo Zhi asked. Zhuo Zhi's cell phone rang. "Hello?" answered Zhuo Zhi. "What? Tonight? I'm sorry! I must've forgotten. Okay-- I'm coming now. Bye!" He hung up. "Uhh, Jingwei, I needed to go back to school. It's an emergency! My cousin ignores what she said just now. She just drunk talking. Please take care of her and take her to my-- (thought quickly about it) No, I can't let my parents know that she's drunk. Take her to your house and be sure she is sober. I will pay for everything. " He left quickly leaving Xia with Jingwei. Jingwei grabbed his cell phone and called for help. "Butler Kai Jang, please come pick me up. I will send you the location." He hung up the phone.

30 minutes later, Butler Kai Jang pulled up and parked. He got out of the car and asked, "Young Master, are you alright? This is?" Jingwei ignored the question and said, "Help me put her in the car. " They both put Xia into the car. Jingwei got into the car, too. Butler Kai Jang asked, "Are we taking her home?" Jingwei replied, "Not right now. She needs to sober up. Take her to my condo." Butler Kai Jang nodded and drove off.

In the condo's apartment complex. Xia was lying in bed. Butler Kai Jang asked, "Do you need anything else? Should I call her family to let them know she is here with you?" Jingwei answered, "No... I will call them in a bit. Go home and get some rest." Butler Kai Jang nodded and left. Jingwei called Xia's aunt. "Mrs Yuikairai. Yes, it's me. I just want you to know that Zhuo Zhi left Xia with me. He went back to school for something important. Please don't blame him. She is here safe with me and will be spending the night. I got a spare bedroom, so I could sleep in the other room. So don't worry." He hung up. Jingwei was annoyed. He can not believe that Zhuo Zhi had put him in this difficult position. "I really hate you." Jingwei looks confusedly at Xia. She was sleep talking. Jingwei softly asked, "Who do you hate?" Xia sleep talking, "Jingwei... I hate him... But I'm very sad that I am starting to have feelings for him."

The next morning, Xia woke up. She was having the worst hangover ever. "Ouch!!! My head. " Whined Xia. "How much did I drank last night?" She asked herself. She looks around the room. "Huh? This isn't my room? How did I get here?" She was thinking hard. ~Flashback ~ "Oh my! Did I - Did I do something embarrassing?" Screaming in her head, trying to think hard. "Probably nothing happened last night. I'm still in my school uniform. " She proudly said. She looked under the sheet and screamed. "Where's my clothes?"

Jingwei was playing the piano. Xia was walking towards Jingwei. Jingwei, stop playing the piano. "You're awake now. " said Jingwei. Xia nodded. "Did anything happen last night?" She asked. Jingwei turns around and answers, "Nothing happened last night. Zhuo Zhi had something to do last night and told me to take care of you. " Xia awkwardly standing there. Jingwei said as Butler Kai Jang walked over to Xia, giving her medicine for the hangover. "What is this?" She asked. Jingwei replied, "It's for your hangover. You had drunk a lot. So your head must be pounding." Xia grabs the medicine and takes it. "School starts in 15 minutes. We will take separate cars. " He said. Xia said, "I could just take the bus to school." Jingwei answered, "There's no bus transit in this location... I will wait for you in the car. Remember, I am not patient on waiting. " He walks out of the room.

Xia has arrived at school. She walks into the entrance. Xiao Cai is running towards Xia. "Hey! What did I hear from the other students that San Bang was bullying you? Is it because you helped Runchu?" She asked. Xia replied, "I guess so. " Xiao Cai asked, "How did you escape? There is only one entrance to enter and exit. " Xia remembered how she escaped. "I had climbed onto the walls. " Xiao Cai nodded. Cody and Jietang came over towards Xia. Xia and Xiao Cai looked at Jietang and Cody. "Xia, Jingwei wanted to see you before school starts. " Cody said. "Huh?" Xiao Cai was confused. "What for? Xia didn't even do anything to him. " replied Xiao Cai. Jietang answered, "Well, I don't know about that. He said, "You offended him." And he told us to bring you to him... He doesn't take no for an answer." Xia responded, "If I offended Ji Jingwei. He would have come to me. And not send his two henchmen to be his messengers." She said. Jietang laughing out loud. "Did this kid call us the henchmen?" asked Jietang. Cody nodded and answered, "Yes, she did. But I've agreed with her. We do seem like the Jingwei's two henchmen." Jietang argue back to Cody, "How dare you agree with her? She isn't right at all. We have been friends with Jingwei since forever." yelled Jietang. Xia and Xiao Cai quietly sneak away. Xiao Cai asked, "What was that about?" Xia answered, "Who knows. Let get to class before we're late."

It was midday. After P.E., Xia was collecting all the gym equipment alone. While everyone were off to the locker room to change back to their school's uniform. Xia walks into the equipment room, and suddenly, a sudden sound of the door closes. "Huh?" confused Xia. She rushes over to the door. And heard the click sound of the door being locked. Xia is starting pounding and yelling for help. "Hello??? Is anyone still out there? Hello??? I'm still in here." Xia was panicking. She doesn't do well in a darker space. "Hey!" It's a familiar sound. "I already told you, haven't I. I will never let you go. I even told you to meet me outside. And somehow, you escaped. Now school is almost over. I have figured if I lock you up in here. No one wouldn't dare to look for you tonight, right." San Bang rudely asked. "Since it's the weekend, no one won't be coming in until Monday. Oh, I heard back in the day that there was a lonely girl who committed suicide in this exact equipment room. She will come at midnight. Crawling slowly to revenge. Don't stare at her eyes if you do. She will crawl faster. So have fun being alone." San Bang purposely pound the door. Xia was evilly screaming at the top of her lungs. Charlise was scared and asked, "Are you sure she is okay being alone at school during the weekend?" San Bang answered, "Of course, she has the suicide girl with her. She's not alone. (She laughed) Let's go before anyone sees us. We will come to school early to check on her." San Bang and her friends left Xia alone in the equipment room, locked. Xia started to pound on the door again, screaming for help. "Hello? Is anyone still out there?" She cried. Tears suddenly falldown on her cheek onto the ground. "Xia--, how dare you cry? Don't you cry! Don't cry! You promised - not to cry anymore? Remember?" She reminds herself. "Mom and dad are still here with me. They will protect me. They're the only two people who always protect me." She heard something fall down. *Thumpp. Thump.* Xia told herself. "It's must be nothing. They are just joking, right?" She hear a thump again. She covered her eyes and sat down against the wall. A sudden hands suddenly creep over and...
