Feelings

After school, Xia and Zhuo Zhi were walking together. "Didn't we both agree that we weren't supposed to be seen by others?" Xia asked. Zhuo Zhi replied, "We're outside of school. Why would those ignorant people want to follow us home?" Xia murmured, "Riight..." Xia asked, "Don't you have practice today?" Zhuo Zhi answered, "I told the captain that I needed to bring some things home for my mom." Xia replied, "Which was a lie?" Zhuo Zhi chuckled. Xia remembered something and asked, "About those girls who bullied that guy? Why did no one stop them?" Zhuo Zhi answered casually, "Didn't someone stop them already?" Xia stopped and thought about it. Zhuo Zhi kept on walking. Xia responded, "It was me!" She jogs to catch up with Zhuo Zhi. Xia excitedly said, "Oh, did you see what I did to her?" She laughed out loud. "I was like, 'Sorrryy!' Ahahaha!!!" Zhuo Zhi laughed, "Yeah that was hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing after I walked away. You are an awesome cousin!" Xia and Zhuo Zhi didn't realize they had walked past the internet café. Walking pasted, Jietang. "Cousin?" curiously said Jietang. Pengxi walked out of the internet café. Pengxi looked at Jietang and asked, "What are you looking at?" Jietang replied, looking confusedly, "I thought I saw Zhuo Zhi with a girl our age, I think she was wearing our school's uniform." Pengxi looked around where Jietang was looking. "Zhuo Zhi? With a girl? Not a chance! He's too focused on tennis and studying. It can't be him." said Pengxi. Jietang laughs it off, "You're probably right. Our genius wouldn't walk a girl home. I must be tired." He said.

In the mansion, Xia and Zhuo Zhi walk in together. Aunt came in and proudly asked, "Zhuo Zhi. In a few days, it will be your birthday. What do you want to do? So I could let my event planner know." Zhuo Zhi answered, "No big party this year. This year, I just want to have a small celebration with you, Dad, and Xia." Aunt asked again, "Are you sure nothing big?" Zhuo Zhi answered again, "Nothing big. And, I don't want a surprise either." Zhuo Zhi walks off to his room. Aunt confusedly said to herself, "What's wrong with him? He always likes a big birthday party?" Xia walked and asked, "Aunt - in a few days is Zhuo Zhi's birthday?" Aunt nodded and replied, "Yes." She asked, "Do you want to come shopping with me? I need to get supplies if Zhuo Zhi wants a small party. And I can buy you a dress too." She smiled. Xia smiled and nodded. "Okay, I will get ready then."

In the mall, Xia and her aunt were at the mall shopping and having fun. After hours of shopping. They sat down on the chairs. Xia was explaining what had happened at school. Her aunt was laughing hard. "Oh my god! Those ignorant girls aren't disciplined. I hope Runchu is alright." said her aunt, worrying. Xia asked, "Do you know their parents?" Her aunt whispered, "I know a lot more about their parents' secrets and the school." Xia was excited to hear. "I used to be friends with the girl who had bullied Runchu back in middle school to our freshmen year. Somehow, we ended our 5 years of friendship, and we went our separate ways. I heard she made bad friends and started bullying some girls in class. She got suspended, and it has gotten worse. So the teachers at the school tried to expel her, which didn't go as planned. When we graduated, we went our way. -- I guess like mother like daughter... Right?" She looks at her watch. "Oh, look at the time. I need to pick up a suit for your uncle. Can you stay here? I will be back in a while." She asked. Xia smiled and nodded. Her aunt got up and left. Xia was sitting down when her eyes wandered off and saw Ji Jingwei and two of his butlers. "What is he doing here?" She wondered. Xia's Aunt came back and said, "Okay, let's go home now. You must've been tired. " Xia looks at her aunt and nods. "Oh-- what were you looking at a while ago?" She asked. Xia stutter, "N-n-no one. Let's go before Zhuo Zhi and Uncle worry. " Her aunt jokingly said, "Nonsense. " She looks at Ji Jingwei. "Oh! That's Ji Jingwei! Zhuo Zhi's best friend." She waves at Ji Jingwei.

Xia's thought, "Damn! I can't let him know that Zhuo Zhi and I are related."

Ji Jingwei came over to Xia's aunt. "Oh, Mrs. Yuikairai, what a pleasant surprise to see you here?" He said, smiling. Xia's Aunt replied, "Likewise! It's been a long time since I last saw you. You have grown into a handsome young man." Ji Jingwei laughed, "Thank you for the compliment." Xia's Aunt asked, "How are your parents nowadays? I had heard they just came back from a trip to France." Ji Jingwei nod, "Yes they had." Xia's Aunt smiled and surprisingly introduced Xia, "Oh, I want you to meet my niece Xia. She just transferred 2 days ago, I think you had met her a couple of times in school with Zhuo Zhi." But somehow Xia just... Vanished without notice! Xia's Aunt laughs it off. "Hehe... I guess she is shy." Ji Jingwei curiously asked, "Xia-- is Zhuo Zhi's cousin, right?" Xia's Aunt responds, "Yes, she is!" Jingwei replied, "Zhuo Zhi never told me about his cousin going to our school. " Xia's aunt said, "I hope you don't mind helping her in school and outside of school. She is still new to the school. And she doesn't know anyone yet. I don't know what her mind is exactly thinking of since she lost both of her parents. I just don't know exactly how she's feeling right now."

Back at home, Xia rushes into the lobby, upstairs hallway, and to Zhuo Zhi's room. She quickly opened the door, looking out the hallway, looking right, then looking left and closing the door. Her back was against the door. She was out of breath. Zhuo Zhi was giving what the f*ck look all over his face. "What's wrong? It looks like you've seen a ghost on your way here." He jokes. She nods by accident but quickly shakes her head. Zhuo Zhi asked again, "Did you go out shopping with my mom?" Xia nodded repeatedly. Zhuo Zhi adjusted his hand on his chin and asked, "Did she choose an ugly dress for you that you don't like but don't want to hurt her feelings?" She shakes her head three times. Zhuo Zhi replied, "If it's that ugly. You don't have to wear it. I can ask my mom to buy you another dress that you are comfortable with." Xia finally sat down and said, "It isn't that. It is something else.-- Your mom met Ji Jingwei... Good thing I quickly ran away before Jingwei noticed me.--" She looks at Zhuo Zhi. "Would aunt tell him about us? If she did. Then we both, the school." She can't think of anything words to say. Zhuo Zhi smirked, "Don't worry about him. If Ji Jingwei knows that we're related... He wouldn't tell anyone." Xia replied, "What if you're wrong?" Zhuo Zhi answered, "Jingwei is good at keeping it to himself. He doesn't care about others' business and their life. So-- as far as I know him... He won't tell anyone." Xia nod.

The next morning, it was raining. In class, Xia was looking out of the window. The English teacher was explaining about the book that the students in class read. "So even though this character starts to have feelings toward the person she hates. She would distance herself from him. Even though it would hurt them both in the future." She looked at Xia and asked, "Xia." Xia came into reality. "Yes." She answers. English Teacher asked, "Please continue reading where I left off. " Xia nodded and tried to find where the English teacher left off. English Teacher said, "Second page, 7th paragraph. 'It was a fine day to take a stroll in the garden. '

Xia replied, "Oh. 'It was a fine day to take a walk in the garden... Birds were chirping freely, and the breeze was exactly how Meihui liked it.'"

After class, it was a break between classes. Xia laid her head on the desk. San Bang, along with her two friends, walks into Xia's classroom and finds her. They walk towards Xia. San Bang purposely pushed Xia's desk with her foot. Xia surprisingly looks at them. "Oh! Surprise to see us?" San Bang asked. Xia answered, "No, not at all. I thought you were a Chewbacca. " San Bang angrily replied, "A Chewbacca?" She scoffed. "Yah! Let's take it outside!" Xia asked, "What for? We only have 2 minutes of break time." San Bang angrily came closer to Xia. "Then we will have to wait after school. You better not run." She said. Xia finally stood up. "Why would I be running away from a prickly spoiled brat like you?" Xia smirked.

It was noon. In the Underrated-7's private room. The 7 of them sit separately. Cody and Jietang were playing cards and gambling with Pengxi. Jietang whined, "Stop wasting time Cody. Gee!!" Cody drew a card played it and replied, "Why would I be wasting your time? It's strategy." Haoran asked, "Did you guys hear that these junior girls are going to bully the sophomore girl after school?" Ren was reading Manga and asked, "What is the new girl name who protected Runchu?" Haoran thinking of the name. "Xiaojian? Xiao Chiang? Xiaohui?-- Oh! I got it! It's Xia!" Zhuo Zhi and Ji Jingwei had a relaxed look on both of their faces.

The school's day was over already. San Bang and her friends were waiting at the entrance. Every student in school was shocked. "I wonder who will win?" One of the male students asked. "Let's place bets." Everyone agrees.

Inside the school's hallway. Zhuo Zhi and Xia were face to face. "So what are you going to do?" asked Zhuo Zhi. Xia answered, "I guess to go through with it. I am... going to end her selfishness once and for all." Zhuo Zhi replied, "I will call my parents. In case San Bang tries to pull strings." Xia nod. Ji Jingwei walks towards Zhuo Zhi and Xia. Xia was surprised to see him, "Oh f*ck!" Ji Jingwei, give a nod at Zhuo Zhi. Zhuo Zhi said, "My mom told him, and I told him everything." Xia curiously asked, "So you know about us-- What are you going to do?" Ji Jingwei replied, "It's none of my business. Even though I know now that you two are related cousins. I am not the type of person who would tell anyone... I will keep your secret."
