Fiona looked for ways to get out of the place since she was getting uncomfortable so she asked Adam to play hide and seek with her Adam still sad that she could not call him by his name rejected her idea “ are you still upset that I didn’t call you by your name “ “ yes “ “ ok I’ll call you Adam if you pass me in our next test together “ “ ok deal “ Fiona knew that he could never win cause he had a short attention span and couldn’t focus on something for too long. Fiona counted to ten and Adam went to hide , as she was looking around for him she bumped into the sleeping figure of Calyx she was surprised since he wasn’t meant to be sleeping in the garden. She looked around and found that he was reading and then fell asleep she thought that calyx was the most handsome male character she had seen so far and wondered how Louis and the rest would look like since she only knows their facial features. When she was still thinking a leaf fell unto Calyx’s head and as Fiona reached out to take it off he woke up and grabbed her hand startling her “ who are you “ Calyx said but Fiona just tried to get her hand free from his grasp “ are you deaf what’s your name “ calyx said getting annoyed Fiona too was already fed up by that time so with the help of a spell Lucas had thought her before he left she used her aura to send Calyx flying off a few inches away from her making him let go of her. She was worried that she might have hurt him but she also thought that it was his fault for not letting go she moved over to his side and saw he had been knocked unconscious she made him a pillow and a blanket few minutes later Calyx woke up to find Fiona beside him “ you’re awake “ “ who are you how’d you get here “ “ you like asking too much questions since you’re awake now and have the strength to talk I’ll take my leave I only stayed back since I felt bad take care your royal highness “ Fiona said and started to walk off but Calyx noticed something on the floor where she had stood up from it was her bracelet he tried calling out to her but she was already gone. Fiona then went inside to eat some cookies with milk when she heard someone shouting her name it was Adam and she had forgotten to look for him “ where were you I’ve been hiding for an hour now “ “ I’m sorry I got caught up in something and I’m sure it didn’t even take half an hour “ “ I’m still angry with you though “ “ you want some cookies “ “ Yah cookies “ Fiona was glad she brought him out of his angry mood and thanked God that she had read the novel before entering that world. After they had their fill Fiona was called by her mom and soon headed back home when she did she went to her room and decide to write a letter to her brother since she missed his character after she finished it she sent it off to the academy and it was given to Lucas. A month had passed and the Heylen estate was preparing for Fiona’s 5th birthday which they wanted to make grand since she had asked them to throw her one after 3 years Fiona was in her room when a maid called her for her dress fitting which she didn’t want to do since she knew she would have to try on at least 20 dresses which she thought was a hassle so when no one was looking she used a transportation spell and arrived at the gates to the imperial academy she tried to enter but was restricted access the first time she asked but when the gate keepers found out who she was they immediately let her in surprising her of the power she had she asked around and finally got to her brother’s dorm room. When she arrived no one was there so she decided to wait on what looked like his reading table due to her knowledge of the novel she knew his classes would soon end but it seemed that she forgot an essential part when suddenly shadows appeared grabbed her and swung her around the room until finally it hits her into the wall making her groan in pain then Roland appeared “ what are you doing here and how’d you get in here it’s guarded by a protective shield which no one can enter “ “ let me down you psycho you’re hurting me “ “ not until you answer my questions “ Roland who used sorcery and possessed shadow magic ignored her and made the shadows on her wrists suddenly tighten making Fiona squeal in pain but right at that moment Lucas entered and spotted his sister “ what are you doing to her let her go right this instant “ Lucas shouted at Roland but he also ignored him and continued what he was doing now chocking her neck Lucas grew furious and used his flames to burn Roland’s shadows off of his sister letting her down he then wanted to attack Roland but Fiona stopped him “ let him be Lucas I’m fine let’s just go “ “ but he “ “ if you hurt a member of the royal family you’ll get executed don’t take that risk he’s not even worth dying for “ saying this Fiona glared at Roland before Lucas carried her out. They went to the infirmary and Lucas helped her with her wounds “ I’m really sorry for what happened “ “ it’s ok big brother it’s not your fault “ “ so why did you come here in the first place “ “ I came to give you this personally “ saying this she pulled out an invitation out of her bag “ it’s for my birthday party and I also wanted to see you I missed you so much “ “ I missed you too “ saying this Lucas hugged Fiona and apologized one more time then she remembered something Adam had said “ oh tell his psycho majesty that his younger misses him “ “ you know Calyx “ “ no Adam his my friend now I’ve been going to the palace for the past month now ever since you left “ “ I guess I missed a lot then “ “ yes you did “ Fiona and Lucas strolled around the school and Fiona told Lucas all her tales that he had missed she really saw him as an elder brother and he reminded her of her elder brother in her world who had died of a chronic illness thinking about it she started crying Lucas tried his best to comfort her but she didn’t stop until she was satisfied “ why did you cry I know you are strong and my sis doesn’t cry remember “ “ sorry “ “ don’t need to apologize “ as they continued talking Adam suddenly rushed towards them surprising Fiona “ your highness what are you doing here “ “ I came here with mom dad and calyx to see Roland “ “ oh ok where are they now “ “ they are now at the guest room come on let’s go and who are you. you look a lot like Fiona “ “ I’m Lucas Heylen Fiona’s elder brother “ “ oh ok then you can come too “ they had no choice since it was rude to decline a member of the royal family and in Adam’s case it was an order not a request when they got to the greatly decorated guest room Fiona and Lucas greeted the ruling party respectfully but as Fiona wanted to greet Calyx their eyes met for a second and Fiona thought he was going to eat her out for being rude to him but he just returned their greetings and kept his eyes on her finally Roland arrived “ your majesties “ he said with a respectful bow his mother the empress hugged him tight but he pushed her away “ you’re so rude you know that “ Fiona said since she was already so fed up with his attitude “ are you talking to me “ “ yes I am “ Fiona said pointing to him “ you have a serious problem that I can’t just overlook why did you push Aunty away “ “ stay out of my business you eat I don’t need a 4 year old to lecture me “ Fiona then turned to the emperor and asked for his permission “ for what dear “ “ please just grant me this uncle “ “ sure but whatever you want to do be careful “ as soon as she got the green light Fiona summoned a water whip and turned to Roland “ apologize to me and Aunty right now “ “ I’m not threatened by you and why should I “ “ cause you hurt aunty’s feelings “ Roland scoffed and summoned his shadows “ I was hurt first “ “ sorry to say but your a scum your majesty “ Fiona said mockingly and then swung her whip at Roland he tried blocking it but to his and everyone’s surprise he couldn’t Fiona then held on to him and dragged him out shocking everyone there. The royal family and Lucas ran after them since they didn’t know how strong Fiona’s powers were Roland still at the mercy of Fiona’s whip managed to get free and shot an attack on Fiona but her familiar wave blocked his attack she dragged him to the auditorium where there was space and they couldn’t hurt anyone while fighting Fiona saw people gathering so she made a water barrier so no one around could get hit “ let me go you rat “ “ I’m not a rat you just an irrational human being with no spot of sense at all even the rat you are calling me is smarter than you “ “ this hurt Roland’s pride and he began using his sorcery forgetting that he was fighting someone half his age.
