After the sad goodbye Fiona went back to her room and contemplated her next move the original story started at her 5th birthday party when she firstly met the royal family and she wondered how she could change that fate by getting aquatinted with them ahead of time or even if possible avoid them at all costs. She picked to get them to her side since it is hardly possible for her not to meet the royal family since her dad is the king’s right hand man so she decided to put that to good use she begged her dad with a cute look to take her to the imperial palace “ why do you want to go there darling that’s no place to play “ Fiona cringed at her father’s words how could he think she wanted to go play but she used that for an excuse anyways “ I wanted to see the famous flower garden my teachers have been telling me about please count Heylen “ “ I told you several times now call me dad “ “ well you aren’t acting as one right now “ Fiona knew what she said was harsh so she quickly apologized and told her dad to forget about it but surprisingly he agreed to take her along which made her happy and to act like the child she was currently she gave her father a light peck on the cheek. She knew in the novel that he had hatred in his heart since Calyx took the throne away from him even though he acted like he was fine with it he didn’t like it one bit the rule of the empire was that only royal descendants with golden eyes and blonde hair could rule even though the three of them inherited blonde hair only Calyx had golden eyes while he had silver like ones and Adam had blue ones. Fiona felt offended by his actions but before she could voice it out her father called her to leave. She had been visiting the royal palace for the next few weeks due to the insistence of Adam. One day Fiona was told that she was called to the throne room turns out Adam had snitched on her even though he said he wouldn’t “ I heard you were able to open my wife’s passage under the pond “ “ yes your majesty “ Fiona said with a tinge of fear in her voice noticing this the Empress spoke up “ you aren’t going to be in any trouble dear “ Fiona looked up hearing this “ really “ “ yes you are not so how did you get into my secrete chamber “ “ I saw the spell in my dream and wanted to see if it worked “ “ so you can see visions “ “ not all the time just once in a while “ Fiona knew that she had to keep her lie going or else she would die even earlier than the novel. Luckily for her they believed every word spoken and even the empress decided to teach her some spells which made her really happy leading her to mistaking my call her Aunty when everyone heard this the room was quite for a bit then everyone started fawning over Fiona’s cuteness but her parents were sad because she only called them by their titles Fiona seeing this fulfilled their wish and called them mom and dad making them rejoice like children which made Fiona giggle she also had to call the emperor uncle since he asked her to Adam tried his luck and asked Fiona to call him by name instead of your highness which she calls him by but she shut him down immediately saying it was not proper. She then thought in her mind that calling the ruling party uncle and Aunty wasn’t proper either.
