Chapter 4

Chapter four : Truce

The next day passed in silence as Kim stayed in her room on her phone only coming down when needed to either for food or if mr Jason wanted to speak to her. Monday came and the trio were already dressed for school . Dante and Belle had already gotten their school uniforms the day they arrived back at the mansion. After breakfast they all headed out after greeting mr Jason a goodbye Dante offered to drop Kim off but she refused, after refusing though conveniently Adrien along with Janet pulled up in front of them and Kim got in the car and drove off to school with them. Unfortunately as luck would have it Belle and Dante were both in the same class as the royalty group and it was really awkward between Dante and Kim since they had to sit beside each other and the worst part of it was that Kim was sitting between Adrien and Dante who clearly had a grudge against each other. During break Janet made fun of Kim after knowing her predicament and they ended-up having a playful banter while eating. Later on during break too , Dante found out that the three friends were know as the royalty group named by the school itself due to them being the smartest students in the school and them winning huge prices for it and even though they had a lot of achievements they never grew proud and everyone including teachers grew to like them and the only way to be part of the group was that if you were as smart and talented as them and had interest in joining the group but the only catch is that you have to get the permission and votes of all the people in the school which was really hard and discouraged people from participating in joining the group. Unlike what the people who want to join have to go through the present members of the royalty were awarded with the name so they didn’t have to go through the stress of getting votes. Dante was really proud of the things Kim had achieved when he wasn’t around and felt bad for how he had treated her when they reunited so he planned to apologize to her after break ends. Finally break ends and Dante rushed up to Kim and asked to talk, Adrien was a bit annoyed by the request but Kim agreed anyway so Dante was relieved and quickly but thoughtfully apologized to Kim. The apology melted her heart and she forgave him it showed on her face that she had feelings for Dante and this was noticed by Belle and Adrien which greatly annoyed them both. Later on that day after school had ended Dante invited the royalty group to go to a cafe he and Belle planned to visit but Adrien refused the offer and pulled Janet and Kim away from the scene confusing them both by his actions so Kim stopped him and with the help of Janet dragged him back to were Dante and Belle were still standing looking confused as well “ ok ! Here we are “ Kim said before continuing “ I have decided on behalf of you both that you will make a truce “ “ truce ? “ they both said in surprise “ yes ! Im tired of being crushed by the menacing aura you both omit when glaring at each other and don’t forget I’ll be sitting between you two all through the semester so if you both don’t want me to die please just agree “ “ no ! I’m not saying sorry to this easy to manipulate gorilla “ Adrien said “ and I’m not saying sorry or making a truce with this buffoon of a man “ Dante also retorted “ I’m sick of this I was being nice before but now I’m not asking “ Kim said giving off a menacing aura more stronger and angrier than the one both boys give out even if Kim was a sweetheart no one wanted to make her angry so without much hesitation they both made the truce and Kim immediately switched back to her usual self and they all headed out to the cafe Dante invited them to and it turned out the cafe was the royalty group usual place to hang out.
