Chapter three : Rivals

Kim came down wearing a crop top with her jacket and jeans as she was about to leave for Adrien’s car though Dante stopped her and told her that they had something to talk about when she returned. Kim was really surprised by his actions cause he had never been so cold to her before and wondered what happened in California to change his mood so drastically. When she got into Adrien’s car they started to drive off in the direction of Janet’s house. Breaking the silence she asked Adrien who he knew Dante. Adrien answered by telling her their history of hatred towards each other, turns out the had once been good friends years back before Kim’s appearance but they got into a huge fight after Dante was manipulated into comparing their father’s wealth to each other and then they just couldn’t stand each other after that “ seriously “ Kim said laughing “ you guys disbanded your friendship cause of that “ “ why are you laughing it not funny “ “ sure it is can’t you hear yourself anyways that aside what do you think could have happened to someone to change their attitude so drastically “ “ maybe the person met Godzilla and turned them into a scaredy-cat “ “ haha so funny but seriously I’m not joking “ “ maybe the person is just having a bad time just give the person time it will be alright “ “ thanks “ Kim said after hearing what Adrien had said and gave him a big smile which made Adrien’s heart beat really fast. They finally got to Janet’s place and met her waiting on her porch “ where have you been Adrien “ Janet said without realizing that Kim was there “ calm down I just went to pick Kim up from her place and crossed path with a past rival “ “ wait you mean Dante right ? When did he get back ? Hey Kim sorry I didn’t see you I thought Adrien was lying about going to pick you up as an excuse “ she said when she finally noticed Kim at the passenger seat next to the driver’s seat in front “ Hey I’m not invisible you know and yes he meant Dante he returned just a few minutes ago and one more thing how do you know Dante “ “ oh that a long story anyways let’s go we are going to miss the carnival “.Later on that day Kim arrived home a half an hour late due to the traffic they had come across on their way back and didn’t expect to see Dante waiting for her “ hey aren’t you supposed to be in bed “ she asked surprised “ you are past your curfew it’s 7:30 now and your curfew was at 7 “ “ hey what’s wrong with you “ “ what do you mean “ “ firstly since when you got back you’ve been giving me the cold shoulder until you found out I knew your so called rival and now you are here acting like you care for me and so you may know the reason I’m late is because of the traffic we encountered on our way back I’ve already texted your dad telling him that and some advice let me be and don’t poke your nose into my business and be rude about it I’m tired and want to go rest so move aside “ saying this Kim walked up to her room and went to bed after taking a shower leaving Dante dumbfounded he never knew that she was so affected by his actions earlier that he didn’t think much of it.
