CHAPTER 5 COMING HOME

"so she placed all the blame on that man? For what? For not paying attention to her?? What a snobbish little brat!" A woman in her thirties whisper to her friend at the realization.

"Yeah! I know right? What a perfect way to shift the blame from the server to the gentleman." The woman on her side said clearly mocking them.

"Since this is solved, you don't need to prepare your apologies to my friend since your also my friend Iriel too, so I'll let this slide. Also Sir Domenic, Long time no see. How are you and your daughter doing?" Vivian immediately talked to the manager and ignored Iriel, as he was the one who saved Vivian when she was younger from her.. No that woman.

"I am fine miss Vivian. it's been a while since I last saw you here on my branch..." the man said with a smile as he pat her on the head.

"Sir Domenic I'm not a child anymore..." Vivian said with a frown.

"but your still a child in my eyes Vivian, I can still see the emotions in your eyes. You still didn't move on..." the old man worriedly said with a soft and warm smile.

"I know uncle... But still I wish to enjoy coffee here at your branch like always!" Vivian said with a smile trying to shift the conversation to another, wanting to forget the words he said.

"ah...I'm sorry for going too far and yes, please hurry the coffee this young man ordered." as he gave the order to the barista.

The barista immediately did as he was told.

Soon the manager gave an order to the cashier.

"the coffee for this whole morning is free. No need for payments, it's my treat as lady Roxi is here." manage said with a smile.

"um...no need to do that... I'm happy to pay you know..." Vivian spoke with a gentle tone.

Sir Domenic de Leon. A man who was not even employed in their city with her two years old daughter, both born in the country of Mexico and was transferred here for a job only to be scammed and stolen of his belongings, leaving him poor and helpless.

But after two years of his suffering and with no work, he found a small Vivian with bruises on her face, back and legs..

Because of Vivian he was able to live again... Helping his daughter to have a stable education and a good and happy life with Vivian as a playmate... How happy he was when he saw his daughter smile happily with a smile on her face.
