Towards the capital

In the small village of Shams, Stella and Haruto were preparing to embark on their big journey.

Sister Evylln: I have prepared some items for your trip; Be careful on the road.

Haruto: Thank you sister Evylln.

Stella then replied: Don't worry, we will be careful on the road.

My father added: You will be in the new capital in two days, just in time for the festivities.

Little Hoshi was deeply saddened by their departure, her tears streaming down her face; Stella put her hand on his head and said:

Stella: Don't cry, Hoshi.

She wiped her tears and added:

Stella: I promise to come and visit you often.

Hoshi: Will you promise me?

Stella: Swear, spit.

This promise soothed little Hoshi who ended up giving a big smile.

Haruto assures: I promise to send you enough money to rebuild the church.

Genki then replied: You should already win tournaments.

Haruto then says: Of course I will succeed.

Stella and Hoshi laughed at the conversation between Haruto and Genki, then:

Hisa intervened: Things won't be the same while you're gone.

Sister Evylln added: You're right, Genki will surely be bored in your absence.

Genki concludes: Anything.

It was then time to say goodbye, although sadness filled them, an immense joy also accompanied them.

Hisa: It's time to say goodbye.

Hoshi: Your absence will weigh heavily on us.

Stella: We will also miss you very much.

Haruto: We promise to come back regularly and send you letters.

Sister Evylln: We will look forward to them.

As they left, a powerful wind rose and the dragon Uryu appeared in the sky, surprising them all.

He came down from heaven and stood before them.

Sister Evylln, surprised, asked: The great dragon Uryu? What are you doing here?

To this, Uryu replied in a surprised voice: I am sent by Queen Jaesselle.

His father then exclaimed: Queen Jaesselle!?

He replied in a surprised voice:

Uryu: Indeed, I was designated to accompany young Haruto and young Stella to the capital.

They were both surprised.

Haruto: Are you serious?

Stella: It's too honorary for us.

Stella was both happy and embarrassed by this attention, while Haruto seemed delighted.

Haruto: It's great, we're going to travel on the back of a dragon, it's really great.

Haruto was filled with excitement and joy when Uryu reminded him of Queen Jaesselle's request. She asked him to go find young Haruto and little Stella to bring them back to the tournament.

Interrogative, Uryu asked the queen why this young boy interested him so much.

Queen Jaesselle simply explained that Haruto was the King of the Eternal Flame.

Uryu was surprised by Queen Jaesselle's words, wondering how a young boy could be the King of the Eternal Flame. Despite her astonishment, she assured him with a smile that everything would eventually clear up.

Queen Jaesselle had always been a mysterious figure and difficult to understand for those around her. However, the more Uryu observed the young boy, the more he asked himself questions.

When Uryu asked young Stella if she was ready to leave, Stella shyly replied in the affirmative.

Haruto: Of course.

They climbed on his back and flew off the ground, while the children, Sister Evylln and the priest bid them farewell from below.

Observing Genki, he thought inwardly:

Genki: (You better succeed, Haruto)

Their paths parted and their journey began.

During their journey, Uryu discovered many sides of Haruto, eventually understanding what Queen Jaesselle had seen in him.

Their trip went very well, after two days of flying, they finally arrived in the capital. The city was magnificent, the inhabitants very lively. Compared to their village, they found the city far too huge.

Stella: You saw that, Haruto.

Haruto: Yes, this city is huge.

Then, Uryu said to them:

Uryu: Hold on for the landing.

Uryu lands in the center of the city.

Uryu: We have arrived.

Haruto: Great.

Haruto jumps off Uryu's back and Stella says to him:

Stella: Wait, Haruto.

Despite her request, he didn't listen to her, jumping from that high was child's play for him.

Haruto: Why should I wait?

Stella: Oh!

Haruto: I can't wait to discover this city and win the tournament.

Stella wasn't surprised, it was typical Haruto.

Stella: You are incorrigible.

Haruto: Don't worry, I promise to win this tournament and for your part, do your best.

Stella: On my side!?

Then Uryu said:

Uryu announces that it is time to leave, causing Stella to become confused and panic.

She asks if she is not leaving with Haruto, but the latter tells her that she must go directly to the Scythe Queen's apartment. Stella is surprised and Haruto explains that after talking with Uryu the night before, he learned that the Scythe Queen wishes to take her as a disciple.

Stella was pleasantly surprised, her face beaming with joy, because finally she would be able to prove her worth to everyone.

Haruto tells him: Do your best, okay.

These words encouraged Stella, even though she possessed no magical powers. So she decided to try her luck.

With these last words, everyone went their separate ways. Haruto watched Uryu fly away with Stella. Before walking further away, Stella shouted:

Stella: I promise to do my best.

Haruto was delighted to hear these words. He smiled radiantly, raised his hand and thumbs in the air, a gesture meaning more than words. Stella understood the message, smiled at him and left. Now alone, Haruto prepared to begin his journey.

He had a smile on his lips and expressed enthusiastically: Here I am now alone.

Then, confidently, he added: I'm sure I'll have fun during this tournament.

Suddenly, fireworks burst into the sky above the arena. Haruto, having seen them, understood that this announced the start of the festivities.

Haruto: I think it's about to start.

Haruto headed towards the arena. The city was very busy due to the event. New to the city, Haruto carefully observed his surroundings. The city was beautifully decorated with flowers and flags representing each power.

Upon arriving at the arena, Haruto faced several warriors with powerful powers.

Haruto: They seem to be very powerful, these fighters.

All of them were fearsome warriors, but for Haruto, this arena was just a playground.

However, among the imposing crowd, Haruto recognized an acquaintance.

A calm and reserved young man discreetly observed the other competitors. Recognizing him immediately, Haruto rushed to him and said:

Haruto: It's been a long time, Toshiro.

This path was familiar to him, he turned around and saw Haruto in front of him.

Toshiro: Haruto!
