Iris got into her car and drove to the designated location. She was a celebrity and waa easily recognized on the way. She didn’t pay much attention to it and even waved at some passerby’s. News quickly spread and Iris was getting good feedbacks form her fans. She walked into the building and was instantly directed to the private room Jake had booked. “ thank you ! I’ll take it from here “ Iris said I smiling at the waitress as she was about to open the door. The girl blushed , bowed her head and scurried off. Iris opened the door and the bag in her hand instantly fell to the floor with a thud “ you .... “ was the only thing she could mutter as tears slowly fell down her cheeks. In front of her stood the scene of her fiancé making out with a woman. She had short blonde hair and big round brown eyes. Iris knew who this woman was and would never have thought she could betray her “ Alice ... Jake ... can one of you please explain ? “ she asked her body trembling “ can’t you see ? I’m with Jake ! He’s my boyfriend. The one I’ve been talking to you about ! “ Alice said with a cold face. She had always been jealous of Iris since they were young and didn’t wish for her happiness at all. Iris had always gotten what her friend wanted even when she didn’t want it an Alice had been building up resentment. She had tried snatching many things away form Iris but nothing by ever seemed to work out but at last she managed to get the man Iris loved. It had took her time , sweat and lies to achieve her goal and was very satisfied seeing Iris in a sorry state. She had expected Iris to have a mental breakdown but unexpectedly she walked over and gave her a tight slap “ you slut ! I always knew you were envious of me but I never thought you would actually go this far. Back in high school you would set up little schemes to get me in trouble but I found them out and managed to avoid them. You always had hope that one day the source of your envy would fade but it never did. You became worse and worse as you grew. I tried my best I really did. I helped you get a modeling job when you wanted it, provided you with money when you were in trouble and this is how you repay me ? “ Iris was outraged. The anger and disappointment in her ad come flodding out in an instant and her tears had seized “ Stop ! “ Iris was about to hit Alice again when the silent Jake finally spoke up and grabbed her hand “ save your last bit of dignity and stop. I don’t love you anymore and you beating up Alice wouldn’t change a thing “ Iris frowned and released her hand from his grip swinging a fist at his face but before it could land she was hit in the head with something solid and she fainted
